Basically why I’m thinking this is that when Derps first showed up and voted Jake, his explanation for it was that Jake was townreading Squid. Since he didn’t make any mention of the possibility of pocketing, I’m assuming that the logic here was more along the lines of “Jake is scumreading Squid, who I [Derps] think is a wolf, and therefore he’s likely to be defending his scumbuddy.” But if that’s what he actually thinks, it would make more sense to be voting Squid, not Jake, since that accounts for both the possibility where he’s right and the possibility where he’s right about Squid, but Jake is just town and wrong (which is … normal for him). Derps and Squid mutually scumreading each other but not being willing to actually push each other to lynch points to a significant possibility of it being W/W distancing (which Derps really likes, see the Mad17 game on MU or the Animal Crossing game on Mafia Colosseum).

Speaking Swedish means that either no one knows what they are talking about, or have to waste their own time translating someone that they really shouldn’t have to.

im actually gonna do a slight hot take here that jake has some town equity.

their “hard to ISO” comment and their “i liked reading them at first” proves that jake did, in fact, take time to read and even ISO players.

never enough to townclear, but it does show a subconcious attempt at solving which is town AI from my PoV
