My ‘backflip’ on Set was a reaction test, and from it I now actually have a reason to believe Set is not scum.
I decided to try and backflip out of nowhere to see Set’s reaction too it.
If he was a wolf: Set would accept the townread, because he wants to be townread. Especially as he was under pressure, I believe he would have continued on as if nothing had happened because he wanted to be townread.
Since he questioned where my townread came from, I believe that comes from a new!town mindset as he didn’t want to be pocketed and could not see a reason I would backflip on him. His questioning is indicative of a towny who is confused, as the mafia would accept the townread as that was his intended goal.
About Set’s bad arguments; I think they’re just new!town thinking ‘this guy is pushing on me hard so he must be mafia’ because he doesn’t understand completely how important day 1 pushes are etc.
I’m thinking James may be a better avenue for today.

She just pointed out that it felt forced and didn’t actually draw anything from it. I’d expect her to at least say something about it making her think I was more scummy?
