[VFM] Elf Gold Rush - Game Over. Humans Win!

Did he say he wanted city to live to the end?

I thought he only said he wouldnā€™t consider voting those slots until F3

Iā€™m definitely not the most townread slot after squirrel, anyway. you are. If I were the most townread Iā€™d probably die before F3 which Iā€™d be pretty happy about.

Wanting someone to live till endgame is not the same as expecting someone to live till endgame

Is what Iā€™m trying to say, but itā€™s possible Iā€™m misinterpreting your post (again)

Right now I donā€™t expect anyone will survive that I wouldnā€™t ever consider voting in F3
But I have my doubts weā€™ll even reach F3 at this rate. We might reach F5 but Iā€™m not super optimistic about beyond that.

Anyway, Zone is hard scumreading me,cloned is hard scumreading me, and I thought you were also scumreading me. But youā€™re saying Iā€™m the next most widely townread for some reason when 3 slots including yourself think Iā€™m a wolf, unless youā€™ve changed your mind.

Did cloned ever give a read on Zone? Cause off the top of my head I donā€™t remember seeing anything.

You know what, actually
I donā€™t think Zone is a wolf if Vulgard is. I donā€™t think Vulgard would have any reason to bus teammates right now.

And Zone has like a universal scumread on him right now and is the player Vulgard said heā€™d vote out first

Suddenly I donā€™t feel so confident that Zone is a hit

Is it possible that the wolf team is Vulgard/min/cloned? And that min and cloned have been staging theatre for distancing purposes and then Vulgard commented on them looking w/w to distance himself from both of them, as well as to help them if he flips first?

This is a heck of a lot of preflipping but Iā€™m trying to think of angles I havenā€™t looked at before

I gotta go back and read my notes later on when I have more time to see if this makes any sense

Yes

no

im biased though because im not a wolf

Going to dive into Clonedā€™s ISO now.

On a side note, Iā€™m really worried by Squirrelā€™s conduct in this game. I know Iā€™ve assumed multiple times they are probably the PR. Iā€™m not going to take that back; I still think thatā€™s the most likely. However, if they donā€™t die tonight, I donā€™t think they should be entirely off the table. I still maintain that we probably shouldnā€™t vote them in final 7 no matter what happens, if they are alive. After that, though, if they keep living, I think they could be a wolf.

Anyway. Just stating that in case it isnā€™t obvious, because I donā€™t think it is.

And by ā€œworried by Squirrelā€™s conduct,ā€ I mean that I feel like they wouldā€™ve done more in their position as town. They did at least write a full readlist, which assuaged my concerns a bit, even though Iā€™m their top wolfread and Iā€™m town. I hope weā€™ll be able to vote out a wolf tomorrow, regardless of what happens.

Anyway, be right back with a cloned ISO.

This post stands out to me as unaligned with Leafia for POV reasons, but Leafiaā€™s a flipped villager, so :joy:

I still think this is pretty terrible, but weā€™ve been over this. This feels like laying out agenda instead of genuine solving. He does say it was a joke later, but that contradicts how he treated it earlier.

Anyway, Iā€™m just going to skip over this.

Actually, no. I donā€™t think I brought this one up before. This right here is proof that heā€™s treating it like a genuine agenda. Instead of genuine solving, heā€™s looking for evidence to fit his preconceived notion. He declares a team of three, and instead of checking if thatā€™s actually a viable team, he looks for statements to fit his preestablished claim. The difference is that he isnā€™t playing by discovery, heā€™s looking for posts that suit his preconceived notion.

This alone makes me feel heā€™s super wolfy, but Iā€™m going to give him the benefit of the doubt and keep reading.

I think somebody called this villagery, and in a vacuum, I agree. Maybe it was even me saying it was villagery. I donā€™t think cloned would push this specific angle as a wolf, but thatā€™s kind of weak. Iā€™d expect him to back off as a wolf when his logic is questioned, I guess?

I know I said I wouldnā€™t bring this up, but this is still terrible. How is it RVS when youā€™re already pushing an age-
Whatever.

This is actually noteworthy, because heā€™s been wrong already, in this game, and yet heā€™s still pushing for people I townread. Either his reads are garbage or heā€™s just mafia lying about his mindset. I mean, he lightheartedly says that heā€™s probably wrong, and yet he keeps pushing. And he has kept pushing for the entire game. Why keep pushing if you think youā€™re wrong? If he really has the mindset of his reads being bad, then he should sheep others. But he isnā€™t. He is pushing against consensus, yes, butā€¦

Actually, I donā€™t even think a push on Windward is against consensus right now. Several people scumread her. It feels like Iā€™m the only person who realizes sheā€™s just town. Like, sheā€™s been the solviest player in the game and the solving has never looked like agenda.

The bolded is wolfy.
The min remark is also random, especially in this context. The remainder of clonedā€™s post covers clonedā€™s catchup, but the catchup doesnā€™t involve min in any way. Why does his supposed read on min suddenly change? Min didnā€™t even do anything. Or at least, nothing that cloned cared to mention.

Considering heā€™s pushing Leafia here, I think he couldā€™ve just shaded his partner. Having TMI on min mafia would explain why he randomly calls min mafia without pushing min. But thatā€™s not really conclusive.

Yeah, this is hard unaligning with January, I am confident on that. The way cloned reacts to this makes it very obvious this isnā€™t theater.

Note the bolded, however. There is still no explanation why cloned scumreads min. Yet, January lands in the same imaginary tier as minā€¦ whoā€™s there for no reason. At least, no reason given in clonedā€™s ISO thus far. And having min in the same tier as another player lets him push January, if Januaryā€™s town, instead of min.

I think this also confirms that January and min canā€™t both be clonedā€™s partners, though he was unaligned with January independently anyway.

I donā€™t think him getting mad at this accusation is alignment indicative. Itā€™s an objectively dumb accusation and I see him reacting like this regardless of alignment.

Yeah, if you doubted these were unaligned, then you have to see this part. The vitriol is completely unfounded if they are both wolves. And it goes both ways.

This feels very much like heā€™s implying Windward V. I call this ā€œthe appeal to town authority.ā€ It also feels like he thinks heā€™s getting caught for the wrong reasons.

Same deal here, except Marl is here now. Like, the problem here is that he assumed either Marl or Wind would care to defend him. Iā€™m not sure where he would have this certainty if heā€™s town. He doesnā€™t know eitherā€™s alignment. He doesnā€™t have reads on them. You could argue he townreads everyone who isnā€™t on his hypothetical wolfteam, but he also calls the wolfteam a joke, so. No.

What argument? He didnā€™t quote anything. I checked the full post and it has no arguments. Whereā€™s he getting this ā€œargumentā€ thing from? How can he tell itā€™s ā€œnot bsā€ when itā€™s all off-the-cuff reads?

I like how he keeps every option open instead of trying to solve us right away. He doesnā€™t really seem to care. He just says we could be a pair of any alignment, which is lol. Itā€™s like he wanted to have a point there, but forgot to include one.

Yet another player Iā€™m reading who has barebones interactions with Zone, by the way.

Him calling January town is the towniest thing in this ISO so far. He had every excuse to tunnel January into the ground, but didnā€™t.

I donā€™t think this is AI either way. I do buy his frustration, I just donā€™t think it means anything for his alignment.

Yeah, this treatment shift on January is villagery. Heā€™s basically walking away from an easy push he could-

I said nothing?
This push is almost too blatant to come from mafia, though. Like, heā€™s outright saying ā€œJanuary is a villager, but I want him to die.ā€ Thatā€™s very bold of him if heā€™s mafia (Iā€™m avoiding the term ā€˜stupidā€™ on purpose).

I would prefer if he actually stuck to reads instead ofā€¦ this, but I think this looksā€¦ okay. This isnā€™t wolfy.

Reading this makes me think thereā€™s definitely a wolf between these two. I think clonedā€™s end of their interactions is actually villagerier. He reacts in a very appropriate way. I donā€™t like basically anything else he did on day 1, but this is good.

Him moving on is a good look. He could be arguing for the sake of arguing, but he isnā€™t.

Him actually caring that Silviu is being wagoned is villagery. As a wolf, he has no reason to write this post. Why would he care about the Silviu wagon when itā€™s a third villager wagon joining two other villager wagons?

Eh.

I think this is actually fine, even though he was wrong.

So, in summary, the first half of clonedā€™s day 1 is really bad, but his interactions with January are actually pretty decent overall. I also think his end of day is fine, and he showed some care about the wagons where a wolf wouldnā€™t have to.

Reading the cloned/January interaction really makes me think thereā€™s a wolf in there, though. Definitely not two, though. This is the hardest unalign in the game.

Notably, I also donā€™t see anything on clonedā€™s end that unaligns him with min.

I feel like Cloned has more things going for him than January does, surprisingly. That isnā€™t what I expected going in.
