So you are essentially giving him no choice? From what I see:

• If he proves to you he can play seriously as town, you scumread him because he would be “tryharding”.
• If he doesn’t prove to you he can play seriously as town, you scumread him because you never see him play seriously as town.

This sounds like a flawed logic. How could you ever dictate how someone should play a game?

I don’t recall cloned being dead convinced of the scumteam. I only remember him being ~fairly certain they are scum because they did scummy things.

I disagree heavily with January when it comes to his logic on Eli/Aelin, but I agree with him when it comes to Clown.

I could see her following Aelin’s vote on January coming from a town’s POV (especially considering I disagree with January’s meta-logic), but her response to January is -according to me- a textbook answer to avoid talking further about her vote.
This would make less sense if she were to do it as town than if she were to do it as scum.
