Iām saying they are stupid. Your getting a weird feel from someone? Thatās gutreads. If your getting a feel on someone because that are acting completely different from how they are town, emotionally and logic wise (I.E someone AtE and selfvotes as wolf, but doesnāt do that as town) thatās meta reads
Meta reads are based off of logic, gut reads are based off of āme no like get weird vibeā
when someone says ātrusting their gutā it doesnāt mean literally
they have a feeling and they voice it
it ESPECIALLY is not rng (by definition, it literally cannot be)
the silviu read wasnāt really a gutread
it was a half-assed meta read and an angleshooty RWOSTFO read
yeah but sometimes i call things āgutreadsā because i really cannot be bothered to explain them
it doesnāt mean iām drawing numbers out of a hat and deciding if itās odd theyāre scum and if itās even theyāre town
i donāt always have an explanation for every little thing i come across, and frankly, i donāt need to.
if i get a weird feeling that someoneās behavior is different from their town game but i havenāt gone through all their old isos in every old game theyāve played in, i will usually call it a gutread without explaining

Cold meta is still only about as reliable as a coin flip on an overall level for the average player. Hot meta/personality reads actually has some value but nobody who says they use meta uses hot meta.
