Atlas here comes different definitions of gutreads. Gut reads are different than each other and people aren’t flipping a coin for the sake of it.
I think it’s more about associating certain social cues that you do not necessaraly conciously pick up on with an aligment.
Usually based on experience on persons own general understanding of how wolves/townies act
I use hot meta sometimes but I don’t specify that that’s what it is
I got yelled at for being angleshooty with hot meta in Darling in the Franxx so I haven’t tried claiming it since

i make sure to microwave my meta for 2 minutes after taking it out of the fridge

The literal definition of gutreads is throwing everything out of the window, only going on a random feeling, and basing your game around that

gutreads are inherently inexplicable, due to coming from your subconcious

The problem was I was defending you during your RT on me in that game and saying you were towny because it was in your personality
And I didn’t want to use OGI but I didn’t think you were a wolf and as soon as someone cajoled my reasoning out I got yelled at for angleshooting and also got wagoned lol
meta is literally just a better and personalized read
read= I think wolves/townies would generally act like this
meta read= I think this player as a wolf/town would generally act like this
