Marshall is just being very atypical mafia trying to town side but not wanting to talk about his teammates.

There is no thoughts that are his own with any confidence. This whole “let’s find town” or “hey what do you guys think about this push?”

“do you guys think this person could be town?”

When you see the difference between Marshall in DR who was forcing his awful reads on the entire town and this MArshall who wants everyone to input and not have his own opinion heard, it’s the “friendly mafia” esque play style.
