I don’t remember him as particularly argumentative in LotR, if anything he’s more argumentative as villager.
Explain in your own words (i.e. not Eevee’s) where you see this.
Neither of these are arguments for how he’s acting like he was acting in LotR because they don’t relate to his actions.

It is bad, but I’m not sure if it’s “boom bye scum” bad.
