I wanna look at your Trivial and Zone takes. Earlier you said that Trivial providing reasoning to his wagon-esqe vote was a good look. Why?

I much prefer Zone’s approach to the Wazza vote. They didn’t try to make the vote any more than it was, no tunnelling into it more or digging for reasoning that isn’t there.

Again, I don’t see how taking my time is a bad idea, I’d rather post productively that not contribute at all.
Regarding my earlier self-meta, it’s come to my attention that that aspect of my play style likely won’t work in this game due to the low volume of posts. In previous games, I’ve done said play style and usually did the full thread read after about 1000 posts, but clearly this isn’t going to happen here any time soon.

Recognizing this, how do you plan to change your play style to accommodate?

You seem to take the inactivity hunt as meaning scum are definitely there, when ultimately that’s not the point of it. Hunting the inactives is more likely to draw them out when they are accused, providing more discussion and more content to actually game solve on.
I hardly find that you are game solving when a large chunk of your posts are suggestions for how other people should be playing instead of pushes.

I disagree, I think most of our posts are solving. Also, I did not partake in Zone’s “activity hunt” as I had already been complaining about activity and going after everyone that wasn’t posting (which was most of the thread at the point), was mostly useless!

They seem to have mild disinterest, not in playing, but in acknowledging the game isn’t moving much and not expecting activity to pick up drastically. When they pushed Anagram, they had an inquisitive tone, doesn’t seem like agenda pushing here. I’m not entirely sure on this slot, but seems generally good and definitely not my target for this Hell Phase.

Can you point this out? I don’t recall Zone pushing us.

Some takes have been weird, but seems to genuinely be trying to scum hunt. Their posts have a lot of relevant content and analysis which is really good considering the thread is kind of dead.

I don’t like their thread entrance. They didn’t seem to provide reasoning for the initial Anagram vote, just dropped it. The Zone tunnel was also not a good look for them. This is not a strong read though.

I don’t like the vibes I’m getting from this slot. They seem to be focusing on being friendly rather than scum-hunting despite claiming that they want to scum hunt.

I think we have been providing reads and scumhunting, at least from my prospective! We can be friendly and crush the wolves at the same time I think!

They rejected Zone’s inactivity hunt, which I don’t like. Even if you think people shouldn’t be scumread for being inactive, it’s still a place to start rather than leaving the thread stagnant.

As I pointed out before, it wouldn’t do much, an would be mostly a waste and annoyance! As I said before, I’d rather scum hunt then try to poke all the people in the thread.

In regards to their appearance, the weird dialogue between the two heads felt disingenuous, and they keep giving suggestions for people to improve their in thread game rather than condemning things to get explanations.

Our dialogue was to get the thread moving and was mostly a reaction test! We wanted to start an argument with eachother as a joke and to to get people talking! Notice how we haven’t talked with eachother in the thread since!

In regards to the improvement point, I don’t think we’ve been doing this that much, and at least all I’ve done is ask people to post more, so I can read them!

I’m not liking Raven very much at the moment. Their posts have little intent or meaningful content in.

Yawn’s recent posts feel good. Spicy. Juicy. I don’t sense any agenda, and their thoughts are very transparent.

My partner and I discussed Heaven a small amount. We believe its in our best interest to vote a consensus townmember who isn’t contributing a ton.
For us, Trivial and Wazza would fit in this spot atm.

I notice you reached back to my first post for this comment, not sure I get why other than to point out this hedge that we already knew was there. For my POV, the hydra heads speaking to each other is part of the thread filling, which you most definitely did.

It was to point out the last place where you mentioned my slot, and there was no mention of us (the heads) talking to eachother, or the fact that you wolfread us.

Not every post of ours is going to be a push. That is not how you play Forum Mafia.
We are telling people to post more, so that we can actually read them.
We are trying to provide content for people to talk about.
We are being open with our thought-process so people can see why and how we townread or scumread players.

You inconsistently push people, opting instead to take this ‘mentor’ role and offer advice on how they should be playing. A villager would be analyzing that play style instead of just offering how they should change it to look better.

Quick mech note but I hope is relevant in the way people are formulating reads:

The way to win Purgatory as scum team is to have good distancing. You NEED multiple scum flips in a row to win as evil, as such scum teams main concern is proper interactions. Buddying is NOT HELPFUL.

By now there’ll be plentiful of planned out scum interactions like SvS if they’re doing it right.
