this lines up with my thread read that this game would go one of two ways
either the strong players all rand town and steamroll

Not really. I think I was the first person to point out that Chloe/You had horrible openers and the only reason I flipped on Emilia was because I re-ISO’d her and I saw that after a while her firsts posts were okay the later ones pretty much degenerated into a bunch of one-word responses which is kind of what happened in PJO.
seriously though I don’t feel confident in any of my wolf reads, I haven’t really been voicing it in thread because I don’t think it would be helpful but it is just weird
