this post here is something I’m used to seeing from t!Chloe. The reason I don’t think this is necessarily just hedge is because she gives reasons why she thinks Vulgard’s play has been sketchy, and also why he could still be a villager, but expresses a massive amount of uncertainty as well as frustration that looks more like she’s trying to legitimately figure Vulgard out than just saying he could flip either way and calling it a day.

I think I remember reading someone saying your opener was bad and i haven’t read it yet, but tbh i’m not making it a priority to read your opener because iirc you also get scumread for your openers as any alignment and i think your alignment should be more obvious from your later posts.

I didn’t know what to make of it in itself but the hypocrisy of it made me start to wonder if Vulgard was TMI’ing me V, because his reasons for townreading me are really similarly quite shallow, and almost the same as Wind’s

I don’t think “Chloe is posting a lot and would stop at a certain point if she was a wolf” (which is paraphrased, to be clear) is a valid way to read me at all? lol
It felt like a giant stretch
Despite my alignment preference I don’t have a postcount tell and I definitely wouldn’t just drop off once I started getting townreads imo

pretty much treats me a wolf from here on out

it bothers me that marl so easily changed his initial townread on me and pretty much treated me like outed mafia from that point forward. he started the game townreading me, then seemingly followed thread consensus (for the most part) as he switched the read around

it looks like he decided to wolfread me because he noticed that his townread on me was anti-consensus and i was a viable misyeet option for him - why deprive himself of that, right?

marl’s only real reasoning for changing his read on me was:

• the fact he seemingly liked proph’s suspicion of me a lot (he praises proph several times when he talks about my slot);
• he also disliked my handling of gghana (even though my handling of gghana was pretty much thread consensus at the time, so i wasn’t doing anything out of place)
• my handling of eli (which was literally a single throwaway comment i haven’t done anything with ever since)

he also compares my treatment of eli to leafia’s treatment of eli, which is a suspicious preflip. he’s not really pushing leafia/vulgard worlds, but he’s putting us in the same basket regardless, so it feels more like shade than a genuine solving process

him doubling down on pushing me after i started pushing on windward feels like something between a chainsaw and trying to keep me in the poe after i started posting better

Tbfh this is another main issue I have with Vulgard. Anyone that has experience with Marl would probably apply a more holistic method to read him and conclude that he’s just a villaging here. The way that Vulgard managed to reach this conclusion that Marl’s a wolf trying to mischop him doesn’t really feel like it’s something he’d normally reach.

It feels extremely wolfy how Vulgard immediately reached the conclusion that Marl is trying to mislynch him even to the point of pre-flipping Proph V with him W because of Marl’s progression on him.

That’s not enough to offset how he’s been treating my/Marl’s slots.

His case on me was bogus such as claiming that I’m following consensus while I’ve throughly been one of the main solvers this match, he misrepresented my intentions when it came to asking Marl to read WWA as I clearly articulated that I wanted him to read Windy because he has more familiarity with her, and he also claiming that I was just sheeping on WWA despite the fact that I literally was the one who deconstructed her opening and started a wagon on her.
