Don’t think he does this unless he specifically wanted to pocket me as w, and he’s absolutely not pocketing me with the way he’s treating me now

@WindwardAway - If you want make sure that you are correct on my alignment, then why are you not taking the time to actually ask me questions or interact with me? If I’m your strongest wolfread, then why are you not voting me? Why, exactly, are you wolfreading me?

I don’t know, and that’s the question I’m trying to ask myself right now.
Vulgard is very bizarre to me because I know this dude is capable of putting in a good wolf game. He was townread pretty much right off the bat in the Orangevitational (as the Sympathizer) and no one ever really caught onto the fact that it was him. I didn’t read much of Gold Rush but he also had a strong wolf showing there.
My gut (and the “easiest” answer) is telling me that he is phoning this one in, because I think that he tried to make up some reads, got called out on them, and then is now trying to backtrack by saying that he intentionally overplayed them. I also don’t really buy his reasoning for townreading you and Chloe since it’s very easily fakeable and doesn’t show that he read your/Chloe’s posts at all. Finally, I think his progression on me is bull - it felt like he was trying to see if I would relent on him if he townread me.
However, I still have this little knob in my brain that is asking me “would Vulgard be this easy to catch if he was a wolf” and I am not so sure. That’s why I want to see more from him. I asked him a bunch of questions earlier on yesterday that he still hasn’t gotten to, and I want to see him answer those questions. I want to see his stated progression on Chloe and you. I just need MORE.

391 - my read on Chloe wasn’t as confident as I presented it. I took issue with her telling Leafia about the postcap because it felt very random, both the choice of target and the choice of… doing that at all. It could’ve been a pocket or something. Didn’t feel like a natural V/V interaction, is my point.
393 - I wasn’t scumreading SPF based on her not saying anything yet. I had her close to the bottom at the time, because other players with posts had better content than her.
“Why didn’t you scumread me” is a poor question. That’s not how it works. Also, I scumread you now. Are you happy?
Also, I didn’t even outright call SPF a wolf, I simply said her posts were worse than most other players’. I’ve changed my mind since, I’m just saying what was the case at the time.
I’m not going to answer that question, because it strikes me as a bad-faith question with an implicit (and incorrect) assumption about my mindset. You already have a conclusion in mind, you just want me to prove it.
Another case of me thinking you can’t possibly be serious here. Does the fact I gave reasoning in the same post not tell you the take is serious?
And I don’t believe it’s as hard to grasp as you portray it. I do it out of habit.
The thread’s full of assumptions about my play and I can’t be arsed to talk about them for 100 posts.
Go look somewhere else. I won’t tell you where, because last time I did it, I pointed you at three villagers.

Emilia’s posts feel like she’s trying to act personable and active without saying much of anything; she’s trying to keep a low profile. Something like ‘wha–’ as a response tells us nothing.
It’s almost robotic
I believe what you’re seeing is “Vulgard randed town after clowning his entire time alive in his last townrand and now he doesn’t really know how to approach the game.”
