Voting for classes (VFC/VFR)

Pros of voting for classes as blue dragon:

-catch scum with the holes in their log (through observer, etc.) and get princess to know if their claim fits within her results (if they have invested them before). Especially good for finding cult/MM because they won’t know what the princesses second result will be, and their are no claims within “special”
-let investigative classes know who is best to investigate for scummy claim (like knight)
-confirm players like butler (by using concentrated wine)
-Sheriff/paladin will know who to skip over for investigations (prince)

cons:
-potentially reveal important classes (prince, sheriff/paladin, etc.) to unseen/cult so they can make more informed conversions/kills
-if an important class (prince/sheriff) is put on trial and claims, and the king is evil + suicidal, he could decide fate to execute them.

In my opinion (don’t get triggered) voting for classes is a good strategy if you have enough knights/physicians/alchemists

In a game where there is not even a ranked system there is no reason to go full tryhard mode just for a win. Even though it’s not against the rules, imo it ruins all the fun.

I don’t hate it.

I just played a game as princess that devolved into VFC. It was very fun for me.

Your opinion sucks. Your definition of fun also sucks.

And don’t forget the lack of rolelist make it possible for clever Unseen and Cult to be ‘confirmed’.

Also claiming roles just means you are telling cult/unseen ‘convert/kill these guys first’

VFC is shit
Here’s why

  1. You give the baddies an all you can eat buffet
  2. The Prince just claimed on the stand, we’d better pard- oh look the King has used Decide Fate and the Prince is dead
  3. Fool’s trollbox can fuck this up too

I did say only do it if you have enough confirmed physician’s/knights/alchemists, didn’t I?

I said this as well. The thing is: 33% chance the original king is evil, and even then there might be a prince.

I didn’t think he could use it while they were on the stand? in any case, the person can just immediately say they were troll boxed.

It was fun, because I had to critically apply my skills as princess to find the bad guys, and prove myself.
