i’ve already described it but they have a perspective dissonance. whysper has been analytical and cautious toward derps, whereas derps has had bad progression on whysper, and has also been opportunistic by voting her randomly.

the previous holder of kat’s slot is esquiddy. esquiddy’s vote would be a useless bus vote that almost killed esquiddy’s partner on day 2 (one vote below insanity, who had 4 total at eod). it wouldn’t even give esquiddy much cred.
seems like a useless and poor strategy. esquiddy easily could’ve voted one of the two villa alternatives.

i don’t think kat has a reason to go for the hard distance here if they are both wolves. it would be more convenient for kat to push whysper or derps instead.

i have already gone in-depth regarding this pairing. the bottom line is that it is possible, they even have interactions somewhat suggesting it. esquiddy going for some distancing vote on derps, with derps clearing esquiddy for thin reasons and justifying it by “soulread.”
from village derps, this wouldn’t be a terrible thing to sheep, but he’s independently wolfy and hasn’t really been playing this game like a villager, so yeah.
