Watch Your Mouth!: Sophomore Year (3/17) - Day 5 - Planters (Mafia) Win!

I guess you are right. But at least 75% thought I was lying so didnt actually engage with me about it.

idk

Iā€™d post another cat picture but the site insists a 1MB image is more than 4MB

not gamer

I was going to do it tooā€¦ But Janeā€™s play at the end of the day pinged me.

you were self resolving so if people doubted you it didnā€™t really matter

even if you survived itā€™s still clearing that the ā€œreal HSā€ didnā€™t shoot you

Yeah, but it did mean I kinda tuned them out because ā€œF*** youā€.

My bad

Letā€™s blame insanity for allowing eli to hammer themselves when I would have happily shot them

take

insanity was obviously unaligned with eli because of that

Yeah. Insanity lynch was awful. Especially when they should have resolved the CW they wanted resolving so much instead.

Hero shots are inherently selfish

itā€™s trusting your own reads against the grain

itā€™s taking a risk on what you believe over what your teammates have said

We were both wrong. Obviously

the issue is that most people were correct on jane. And most people were incorrect on whysper

it cost us in the end. A slot that was going to die eventually was left to the end of the game and died.

You prioritized your own thoughts over the good of the town and it was one of the reasons town lost. Yet you defend your shot and mock others for their mistakes. There is no introspection. There is no self-awareness. You are doing this for whatever reason, to defend your pride or ego I presume, but I am saying that it is painfully obvious to us all what you are doing consciously or subconsciously and it is a bad look on yourself.

I played poorly. I chokeheld thread with my posting and reads, and didnā€™t try to genuinely discuss things with people unsure on me and instead talked at them, and I got burned for it. I emotionally and behaviourally handled this game poorly. This was a bad showing and I am working on improving all of these.

I think you need to look at your flaws and know what you did wrong. No ā€œI did x wrong butā€. Just what you did wrong. This is if you want to improve. If you donā€™t want to improve, keep doing what you are doing, but it actively makes this postgame worse and causes rancor. Please donā€™t.

I learned my lesson. If in this situation again, Iā€™ll ask peoples reads on Jane first.

My impression was that Jane was Poe anyway so no harm done if I was wrong

the reason people say to shoot the counterwagon

is because it allows you to resolve the counterwagon WITHOUT spending an entire day going ā€˜elim counterwagon printer go brrrrrrrā€™

As I said above, I expected the alternative to be ā€œLetā€™s get Jane brrrā€

Out of curiosity, why did you think Jane was town?

this was my earlier reasoning, strengthened as day went on

Pics or it didnā€™t happen.

My thinking was if I die and Jane is scumā€¦

Shooting whysp (flips town?), Town lynches Jane (flips scum) - Whysp dies unnecessarily
Shoot Jane (Flips scum) - Whysp could be scum, but Town has time to decide that.

Better to shoot Jane

If I die and Jane is town

Shooting whysp (flips town?) - Town lynches Jane who also flips town. 2 town dead
Shoot Jane (Flips town) - Town lynches Whysp (Flips town?). 2 town dead.

From my perspective, shooting Jane was objectively no worse whysp. The order disnt matter if I was wrong and was better if right.

My massive error was not understanding how people saw her slot.
