Ways that Throne of Lies can improve.(LONG)

Pro tip as non-MM Evil. Accuse someone ASAP. Don’t worry about if you can maintain your claim over time as you aren’t trying to survive the whole game, just long enough to take someone else down with you. For example when I am converted N1 then I accuse someone D2 most of the time even if my class can’t really accuse people very well. This causes:

1: BD gets lynched
2: Prince wastes his time jailing me (Usually)
3: GKing wastes an OE on me (blocked by the prince. Usually)
4: Everyone is on me taking heat off the MM and assassin (who can now kill somewhat freely for a night)
5: After I am executed for accusing a BD the MM can immediately convert again
6: The BD are now more paranoid about accusations

Also I often accuse someone D3 too to see if I can keep going with it. My record is 4 mislynches using this strategy as starting assassin while there was a good king in play. It was awesome.

Also while the convert failing thing may have been an issue before it isn’t nearly as much so now.

16 players
You are not targeting unseen
You are not targeting king
13 viable targets
max of 5 of them are neuts (38%)

even if you manage to hit 3 of them back to back (3%) you would get a free pity convert.

The odds of hitting 2 immunes in a row is (12%)

this is also if you assume no one dies and no other information is obtained. Both of these give you better odds.

This is basically a request to make the game a differnt version of town of salem and they have a convert system the vampires

Also why would you want to guarantee that a class that has an ability get completely screwed over by another ability also have that other ability? AKA Possessor and Mystic. Especially because poss is an NK.

One last rant from me each game is uniq in its own way tol is its conversion mechanic which is way differnt then the vamps

The Mafia has a KPN of 1. This has been shown to be stable even if a bit weak. Now lets go over how strong each Coven member is in terms of KPN with no necronomicon:

CL - 0
Medusa - 0.5 (3 shot)
Hex Master - 1
Poisoner - 1*
Potion Master - 0.33
Necromancer - 0

*The Poisoner KPN is 0 if there is a doctor

With the Necronomicon the KPN is 1. So with a team of 4 coven in ranked you have a range of 0.33+1.5 KPN to 2+1.5 KPN. With the Necronomicon it becomes a max of 3+1.5 KPN

The list contains 1 NK and 2 Neuts for 7 non-town and 8 town. That means anywhere from 2-5 town can die N1 with only 1 person visiting the medusa. While you could argue that of those 2 of them are not really dead and that is fair. However it means that by N2 there is a large chance that the entire town is dead.

In comparison it is possible for the coven to have almost no KPN and none of this can happen. All of which of no volition for the players just like with your EKing example but worse.

Also can I just say how BS it is that Hexmaster has an unlimited use perma frame.

For the record ToL gives the NK’s a KPN of 1 and the factions a KPN of 2+4

Oh and dont get us started with pestilence that takes to long to infect everyone you have to be lucky your infected target doesnt die and can visit

And how if you do get lucky then everyone else is screwed.

But ya I have no idea what you are talking about. Regardless of faction/class a few well placed whispers and lots of guts can usually carry me far.

And it’s a blast doing it.

I’m not trying to turn ToL into ToS, Cult still have the convert mechanics, I just think it’s better if Unseen have a more "classic werewolf/mafia style to it, you get to start with a fixed team and work together from the beginning to the end, so you have two different flavors of evil in this game.

What would the point be. We play ToL expecting a conversion game. If half the time it isn’t one then half the time we don’t get what we payed for.

Also that makes Unseen far worse than the Cult while also making the CW more useless than ever.
