Well that’s you. I’m only giving suggestions here some may like it some may not, so I guess the only people that are left are those who love the game as it is? leet players and fanboys. The game is losing player-base ATM it already takes forever to queue up a game in the day, there’s a reason to this.

Also you have to understand that this game is about conversion. If you remove it then what you are left with isn’t ToL. Any suggestion to remove it undermines the premise of the game to the point where I would say that if you don’t want to at with conversion then don’t play ToL.

It’s like saying that ToS shouldn’t have a lynch in the game or that half the time the mafia should have no night chat and not know the other members or something like that.

Basically all of the power the BD has is as a consequence of having to deal with conversion. King is ment to be a point of stability without allowing for his existence to be gamebreaking. (doesn’t have much to do with his exact Ability’s. Just why he needs to be there at all)

Prince is also a point of stability. However his confirmed nature makes his death a big deal which stops him from outing.

And another thing ive only seen 3 people complain about this you and 2 others the others who play this game enjoy the conversion mechanic since if you die and your team wins you win

I say they just needed to go all in or not have it. They went with option 2.

Look the only good thing about this is changing casual it would be intresting having a mix and match classes

-Make the fun classes like Fool or Scorned spawn every game.

There are 1-3 neutral classes every game. No idea how you mean “fun classes” as everyone has their own definition of fun.

-Make it so you can type in the death notes. I mean, being able to draw is a nice idea, but being not able to type is worse.

-Make the Unseen cannot convert anymore, but starts with 4 members. Cult now starts with 3 members but brainwash have a 2 days cooldown.

The entire point of ToL is the conversion mechanic and that nobody is truly confirmed. This isn’t Town of Salem.

-Change Mastermind’s dirty work to a night ability, “if the assassin died or cannot attack, Mastermind would instead attack the target”, it’s just a useless skill ATM.

Now you’re just trying to turn the Unseen into Mafia. Out.

-Make OE no longer bypass death immunity.

It should just be removed outright, to be honest. Right now the King is too damn powerful and this causes the King’s starting alignment to be too damn swingy.

-Make MM appear NS even after night 3.

There’s no need for this. By D5 most Sheriffs should be either dead or converted. If Unseen is under-performing and wasting their nights, then it’s their own fault for leaving the Sheriff alone.

-Remove Observer’s Peek ability.

Again, there’s no need for this. Peek has only two usages and can’t be used willy-nilly.

-Make Court Wizard’s tornado have infinite charges.

i42 tried that before. The verdict was that CWs became too easily confirmed and that the nonstop target switching was more of an annoyance than help.

-Remove Alchemist’s ability to heal. Alchs are too powerful in this game, I mean he’s not just a survivor, but can heal and can bomb. Just count how many heals Alchs are giving to the bd every game. Removing his ability to heal makes his role harder and more interesting to play.

Disagree. My suggestion would be to give Alchemists a passive Stoneskin where using either of their night abilities removes the immunity for the night. This should minimize the free win that Alches get by allying up with BD as now if they wish to play as an nonconvertible Physician then they cannot have their death immunity.

-Revert the changes to mystic so she can talk to the dead. Make Possessor always spawn with at least one Mystic.

Are you seriously asking i42 to nerf the class with the lowest win rate? Plus, read the dev notes on why they removed Grave Matters in the first place.

-Slightly reduce the day timer.

I see no reason for this, though.

-Revert Mercenary’s goal to “your target must survive, you will commit suicide if your target dies”. Merc’s are just an extra bd or evil ATM which IMO is not interesting to play.

Pretty much this. Right now Mercs are too damn strong as they make the game too swingy depending on their target.

-Change Casual mode to “All Any” mode where things are all random, e.g. 5~10bd can spawn, 1~4 evil, others neuts.

I see nothing wrong with this. Casual is kind of a waste TBH.

Starting as Unseen or Cult , I agree , is quite boring. I do find it more enjoyable than Town of Salem’s evils , however.

Then talk. It’s surprising how long you can last if you contribute to conversation. VFC doesnt even work as well as it used too, and king , i feel , is actually quite weak. GK however. EK is a really good evil. No one whispers king anymore , and there are many workarounds to countering prince.

Yep , the problem is that what is considered hard to claim in simpler games is now even harder here.

You forgot about getting converted into a win , and becuase of your failed conversions you accidentally found a way better convert target :eyes:

The rest of your post aside, how the fuck do you expect me to take you seriously if you say that Imperium42 seems to have “abandoned” updating their game, but BlankMediaGames haven’t?

Even before they started working almost exclusively on a Unity port of the game, updates have been both small and few and far between. I like Town of Salem, but the tortoise-paced update cycle has always baffled me.

I’ll come back to the rest of this later, but your opening paragraph is already baffling.
