Scout
Smite
Umm i wouldn’t say that. “Pure Deduction game” even if it’s seem to be nice there is like plenty other Social Deductions that have this kind a style of gameplay. The reason why ToL is such a interesting game it’s because of the uniqueness and variery of the plays you can make.
Not even just mechanics that directly address conversion. The overall power and balence of the classes is ment to deal with the existence of conversion.
Yeah, that argument about trust falls apart because of an ability called scout.
As soon as you “earn everyone’s trust” by outing yourself or getting someone exe’d, you’ve just become a prime conversion target. You’ve also become a prime scout target. The MM ‘wastes’ a night converting you because you get executed the very next day, greatly decreasing your ability to win. This is why it’s called “converted into a loss.”
Cool.
Kill the sheriff or convert them
PROBLEM SOLVED
It’s pretty hard for me to take your “solution” seriously when you keep spamming about how conversion is the only thing that makes tol different from tos. People aren’t stupid for having different preferences and opinions than what yours are.
Spamming??
I’m just here spreading happiness
Also only said it once or twice.
I think.
I may be lying right now
I don’t see the problem with adding a mode that doesn’t allow for conversion. That’s all @Icibalus and I are arguing for. In my case, I’d rather they remove casual mode and put an anti-conversion mode.
Are you going to let Rngeus decide what class spawns?
The amount of balacing required for a non-conversion mode would result in a completely different game.
Yep
Which may or may not be exactly what I have in mind
more on this in a bit and another thread
To clarify I don’t think just removing conversion is a good idea at all
Boslof is definitely in the right here on that subject
This is just a conveniently-timed excuse to put forward my gamemode suggestion I’ve been sitting on for a long while
We’re not gonna be adding a new game mode any time soon. Casual mode is being disabled for public games in the next patch.
Also consider class portraits, if you actually want it to be implemented. They take about a week to do one, so we don’t really want to make a bunch of new ones.
Oh shoot good point lol
Although would you prefer new portraits or using the same ones with either
A: a new name and different abilities
B: the same name and different abilities
Shit no why my game literally won’t open (it just crashes) and I never even got to play it once
Different name
TBH the only gamemode I can see being in high enough demand and also being potentially balanced with minimal changes is multiball with more than 16 players.
Cool
Time to go suggest something and pray that we reach a point that it’s even feasible lmao
