actually thinking about this better way would be not to give best townplay but instead good townplay/ good scumplay
there wouldnt be finite amount of them instead they would be given to all people who played well/put much effory
obviously not the best system but way better than alternative

Just give people praise post game if they did something notably good.

“Best meme” is the only award I want, but it might also encourage people to shitpost instead of playing, so yeah.
I had no opinion when I came into the thread, but I agree with Orange the most, including his point about consulting MU. Awards are not really a solution, I believe.

Some people want to improve, and they do (and will). Some don’t.
I think it’s natural. The resources are all there at this point, you can’t say they aren’t there. You just have to make use of them, and not everyone wants to.
I don’t think there’s anything we haven’t said. Right now it’s a matter of people wanting to improve, because some don’t care. Which is normal, but has a higher impact on our site because we have fewer players.
When asking this question, consider that yes will always be the answer to it

But yeah, it doesn’t matter, I just agree. I don’t think awards are the solution, it’s more about the mindset of particular players and whether you care about improving in the first place. If you do, the resources are all there and you are free to use them. If you don’t, then no amount of pestering is likely to change your mind, and you will continue to play poorly.
Plus, there’s “playing for awards” instead of “playing to win,” kinda like the Champs syndrome, but on a smaller scale. Not sure how many people it would affect, but it would surely affect some, even subconsciously.
We already praise several people’s play post-game depending on what they did, and I think that’s sufficient.
The title thing, though – I think resetting them might be a good idea, I’m just hesitant because of potential backlash.
