people will see it as a competition not just against the other faction, but their own.

If we are looking to improve townplay we should be encouragin working with others

people have gotten competitive over dumb meaningless numbers going up
and competitiveness sparks fighting, arguments, lines can be crossed

This feels like something that would boost morale for a little while however over the arching time itā€™s implemented I feel like it would have little effect. That said, there arenā€™t that many reasons against it.

I mean I think realistically, behaviors that are toxic or designed to make the game unfun, such as insulting other players/self-voting and ATEing in response to pressure/etc., would ā€¦ typically exclude people from getting an award for being a good team player

like, if your response to disagreement is to harass the person disagreeing with you then that is not an example of good team play

if your response to pressure is self-voting and ATEing then that is not an example of good team play

this seems fairly obvious?
