Mario, DK, Yoshi and Wario series:
Waluigi (already confirmed as assist trophy so rip)
Funky Kong
Toad (BUP)

Other:
Shovel Knight

Zelda series:
Skull Kid
Impa (Impa would be cool to see)

Earthbound/Mother:
Duster (at least as an assist trophy)
Porky (doubt it but I want him)
Masked Man

Also dr mario should’ve been an echo character
I have more but here are my initial ones

Also, Waluigi would be nice
Octolings playable in both Splatoon and Smash would be awesome but highly doubt they would be a fighter
Skull Kid cause why not, more Zelda characters
(I honestly don’t have much of a preference at this point, all the characters I want in Smash will be there :/)

Also disappointed that Young Link isnt like Hyrule warriors young link. (Masks are huge part)

But ya. There is a delay after jumping before you can airdodge which is why you can’t wavedash
