Why Fool Is A Bad Class

I see more people pardoning evils because of fool than because of being a possible scorned target. It does happen, but not as often as fool.

Yes, but look above. Fools get pardoned more often than possible scorned targets.

Inquis is truly a worse class to roll tho ngl

And then they immediately die. Also every time someone is pardoned because they suspect fool (incorrectly) it means that a scum got away with being bad at scum. Getting away because people suspected scorned involvement means that you did well as scorned.

Not if youā€¦

  • Are supposed to use the method in question as your primary method of eliminating those in your way
  • Donā€™t have another way to dispose of them due to deaths or just bad RNG
  • Give them a way to protect themselves from these other methods

Especially since most individual Blue Dragon players cannot kill, but they can all vote.

is deez nuts industry standard

(I hate myself for writing this)

It still saves a day and forces the king/prince to execute them instead of someone else.

And thereā€™s nothing wrong with that. Itā€™s not fun to be called out as evil early on.

Making people ā€œdoubt confirmed investigativesā€ is done much better through evil roles that frame, such as Illusionist/Aristocrat.

Or, you know, the fact that your investigators themselves could be converted.

Oh I completely agree fool shouldnā€™t have a night protection ability thatā€™s dumb.

Chances are there will be a good king, Prince, knight, hunter, or friendly alch to put bad fools down though.

No

Itā€™s done differently, not better. Evils should always have a way out.

Scout detects conversions and smite, magic barrier, and mercenary prevent conversions, so not always

The way out scum should have should require them to use their social skills to convince others of their innocence. Or, barring that, because conversion exists, they can simply be replaced.

The way out should not be predicated on them being so bad at hiding their secrets that they are considered a class that is actively trying to garner attention to be lynched. That is poor play, and should not be rewarded.

Frame is a better way but itā€™s no way near reliable enough. You never really consider the chance of a framer cuz theyā€™re so uncommon.

They should make scum king frame his target when he guards or something

With Aristocrat they have become more common, and the commonality of frames and their effectiveness are two sides of the same coin.

See my King suggestion for a version of that not predicated on Guard.

Yh having it on guards would be dumb as youā€™d have to always guard bd to get any use of it lol

You know the most effective way to make early accusations more effective is to encourage scum to accuse early on more often.
