Why I don't respond to feedback

Agreed.

Doesn’t change my point. There’s a good chance of the cop dying early on which instantly reveals the evil faction.

Fair, but it’s still unfair to know the evil faction super early.

20% is not over half the time the informed minority wins. I would be fine with a win rate that is around 15%, but 10% is too weak.

Removing smite would not make the cult win rate increase that much. There are already several abilities for preventing conversion.

I’m not saying that both of them should be implemented at the same time. I would be fine with the NK having a 15% win rate, and with just merging sheriff and paladin.

IMO trollbox would fit best on possessor since it’s theme is deception.

Disagree with your win rate scenario. Cult would win more.

How about making smite stop converts on two people

I would be fine with just stopping converts(though paladin would still be boring). The main issue with smite is the omniscient killing.

Killing all visitors is bad though, convert protection is the way to go

I never said that it should kill all visitors, just that it shouldn’t kill only the cult leader. There’s a difference.

ik but I felt the direction of it

And killing all visitors is not always bad if it’s limited

it 100% is on a BD class. Trust me.

Knight does a better job anyway tbh

Why are people so against making harmful abilities being able to harm BD as well? All non-investigative abilities should have some risk involved, and it makes them take more skill.

I made some suggestions on this topic before it was nerfed to only be useable after (or on?) night 3.

Imagine hunter killing all visitors

I agree with firekitten on this, it should just prevent conversion(and remove the warmup period. The warmup time was added because the cult is at a huge loss if the paladin yolo smites early). Killing the CL as well is too strong

Honestly killing all visitors already is a bad town Ability, besides the fact that you are probably using it on someone you Town read, it causes other people like the physician to target them as well.

Also killing 4 BD in one night is a thing

I made the same suggestion in the mentioned thread. I am hypothesizing that Boslof saw it as soon afterwards Smite was altered, so he preferred the different option. I do think Boslof’s direction is more fun for the Paladin in question.

Smite already does this, stops converts on the paladin and someone else, I’d be happy if it was a double conversion protect that could target any 2 people except the paladin, then CWs are hella important for protecting the paladin

PGOs in TOS LUL

Yeah I’d be happy with 15% being a maximum for NK. Any more than that consistently is cause for concern. I think most people agreed that mind control was the main reason why possessor has a higher winrate

Fire means that it should only prevent conversions. Killing the CL on top of preventing conversions is too strong
