literally because “too scummy to be scum”, because their plays are pretty anti-towny but they’d be way too obvious for scum. I think they’ve been coasting on that the entire game and killed Eevee before Eevee could change his read on them.
i mean, they can’t really agree with the general readlist when they are on the bottom of it-
especially when the ML’ed townies were both being killed for the same reason, they likely aren’t going to scumread each other
we have consistently ML’d the people whose reads disagreed with ours
it’s not just that they were on everyone else’s PoE. there were other differences, like people who scumread me, or maple, or someone else who’s being considered “locktown” which I think means we’ve made a mistake.
at any rate I’m not against voting Derps out because he’s literally done nothing and it would be a policy lynch in the worst case.
I’m just saying, the more I think about it, the less likely I think it is that we have two totally absentminded wolves. They have to at least agree on their kill target, and if one is like “hey we kill this guy” and the other says “ok” and neither of them look at the thread, they’re not even trying to play properly. And I don’t think they’re so lazy and afk that they’d throw the game. Considering we yeeted Illwei and Shurian and we were wrong about both, scum has to be doing something in the shadows.

“Is it voting time?” asks one of your classmates, Derps, sarcastically.
“Thaaaat’s right!” said Monokuma. “It’s voting time!” He pauses, tilting his head to the side. “Well, I suppose it makes sense that you’d be the one to guess that…”
“Why’s that?” asks your classmate, his face paling.
“Well, I’ve taken the liberty of tallying up the votes, and the player you’ve selected as the Blackened is … SirDerpsAlot! And I am pleased to announce that you are … incorrect!”
Monokuma grins. “This is so despairful!” he says. “The networks are going to love it!”

“That’s … that’s not how this works,” you say, raising a finger. “Literally everything you just said is wrong.”
Monokuma ignores you, wheeling out a giant cannon with his face painted on the side. He loads Derps into the cannon, forcing him into a crouching cannonball shape. He lights a fuse on the cannon; the fuse sparks for a moment, before igniting in an explosion so large you can scarcely believe it came from a relatively ordinary cannon.
The last thing you see from your former classmate is his body growing smaller and smaller as he flies over the horizon.
