I read it and it feels lacklustre but I get where you’re coming from.

since I don’t really have any proof of Maple’s previous games, I believed it. Shrug idk what to make of it, still. I also think the thing on Shurian looked ok to me. I had an early townread on Shurian for similar reasons, so I don’t think he necessarily fabricated the read on her. I rescinded my townread on her when she sheeped Min on Eli, though, and then she waffled around in my readlist before ending up at the bottom (oops).
I don’t even know why this was a question. It was vaguely directed toward me because I was “openwolfing” and unaware of who the wolves were at that point, and I obviously did not include myself in that (because I know I’m not a wolf, but you didn’t know that at the time).
PKR knew we had JoaTs but had placed his vote onto Eevee really early, maybe even as a meme, and then just never removed it. I legit forgot about it and maybe he did, too, but he literally came back when Eevee and Maple were bouncing votes onto him, so I still dont know how to read his reaction. If I’d been in his place, I might’ve panicked too, because I’m self-centered enough to think it would be about me and not just about getting Marl within lynch range. But I’m not an experienced player and I’m honestly not a good player, either, at least at this point, so that’s why I would personally have overreacted. (I was also not in a very good mood D1 and it obviously showed.)
PKR panicking about me coming into the thread literally when someone asked him if he was in wolfchat with me tells me, on the contrary, he might not be a wolf. He had genuine panic, and I’m not a wolf but it didn’t look like he necessarily knew that when I popped back into the thread to vote Marl. So if he didn’t know my alignment at that point, I’d say it points to him being more likely to flip town than mafia.
if I were in the PoE for like 3 days straight, regardless of alignment, I’d be demotivated. And there was a fair number of people who thought PKR was scum by the end of D1, so I can’t exactly blame PKR for it. There were plenty of people who thought I was scum (almost everyone, except Shurian and Intensify I think) by the end of D1 before the Marl flip, so I was also on edge about it. Difference is that I’m the one who popped in inconveniently and made PKR look sus, instead of the other way around.
I didn’t want to ask PKR about this. I just assumed Marl and PKR didn’t want to interact too much directly so Marl went for pointing vague fingers at PKR instead of talking to him directly. Whether that’s indicative of wolf distancing or awkwardness distancing, I don’t know.
there’s a chance, if he’s town, that he’s actually just a good player with a lot of experience. then there’s also the chance, as you said, that it’s TMI. He’s still pushing intensify as scum with Derps, though, which is interesting. It looks like Min also considered a Derps/Intensify team because of the vote on Maple, and I’m still thinking this over. Nothing about Intensify has pinged me as wolfy, but maybe I’m looking in the wrong places. However, while I can see a case for townreading Shurian, I don’t see much of a case for townreading Illwei because right before the hammer she kind of did nothing to convince us she was town lol.

This is still by far the weirdest thing I’ve seen PKR say and it threw my read on him way down on the list when I saw it.
Begging for proof that he’s innocent. Looks more like a wolf who didn’t make the kill, looking for a free clear, or else he was looking for proof that the jailkeep action had been used - which min successfully faked, and all we had to do was repeat it in the thread a couple of times to convince people that was what happened. I am going to admit that I was not sure whether Eli had actually jailkept min or not, so I just kept repeating it when others were asking, figuring that whatever min had said is what min wanted everyone to believe. Ofc I ended up believing it myself in the end, cause I’m dumb, but scum apparently believed it as well. I think PKR and Intensify both got their answer from Min’s claim of being jailkept as I recall.

I questioned this yesterday and basically got yelled at by PKR for not understanding that he wanted Eli to jailkeep him (wtf though).
I’m not “too transfixed” to consider voting PKR, but I want a bit more content from everyone today and D5 before deciding who the last scum is. If the last scum is really so unaware of the game, we’re not at a loss for killing the least active one (Derps).

but like… I still want Derps out today. Scumread, policy vote, whatever. I don’t see why we wouldn’t want him out. He’s not contributing and he’s making himself present by trying to argue that I’m scum just so we can’t argue he’s lowposting.
I’m growing more uncertain of my PKR read and also my Maple read (so someone did a good job of making me doubt them) because I am, as I’ve said before, not very confident on my reads. My read on Marl made me more confident, but my reads on Illwei and Shurian made me less confident. That’s just how I react to seeing flips (and it doesn’t indicate I’m a wolf looking for LHF). Derps was in my PoE yesterday and is still in my PoE today. PKR was in my PoE yesterday and is still in my PoE today. What’s changed is that Maple is in my PoE and that I’d rather put Light above Intensify in my readlist, with neither one in my PoE right now.
I’d rather have more time to think about both PKR and Maple so that’s why I want Derps out today.
or it might be because he’s mad that he’s being read for this when you aren’t even his teammate? it was specifically you that we said told him in scumchat, so the fact that it was actually a coincidence (since i’m assuming you aren’t mafia, lol) means his response isn’t AI - he could have been equally shocked that he was being accused of this when you aren’t even scumbuddies with him
I used to play games here when my partner did too. Marl was a staff member here and on multiple occasions attempted to get us blacklisted. I appealed each time and it worked, since, there was no evidence against us. Myself and Marl somewhat get on now but the feelings are still sore. I think that explains it
