Would you rather #2

You could have just used the old thread

Also second because of sunk cost fallacy if that would apply

It’s not my place. I’m not a cop.

Then become a cop or death will punish

Tell death to choose as in such way I would not be a murderer myself. Which right do I have to decide someone’s fate?

I mean exactly why? People think about the morality of the decision and decide to try to kill themselves to save both of them which doesn’t make a lot of sense. At the end of the day the king and the pawn both go back in the same box. Everyone is going to die it’s just a matter of time. Death doesn’t care about morality, he cares about taking souls. You killing someone isn’t going to affect when he kills you, he doesn’t care if you kill x or y. In this situation you killing someone can be classified as self defense as well, as one of them being alive is a threat to your safety.

Second choice

I can change this situation entirely by adding context of why they both killed people. It’s ironically so similar to the purgatory video.

Why did he killed people and why the other one will

I don’t have enough time to write that, I will probably have enough time after school.

I still highly recommend watching purgatory series 10/10

What if I made an purgatory type what would you do. Like send them to hell or heaven and I make them have a profile

Do it

Time is irreverent in purgatory as all happened during purgatory and all hasn’t happened in purgatory

the Old thread didn’t exist then

There are a lot of answers on why it is worth to stay alive knowing you will die so I am not touching that.
I don’t care about what death cares.

That’s my point. Death doesn’t care who you choose as long as you choose someone. In this theoretical universe nothing is going to happen to you for choosing X or Y. There is no government who is going to punish you because even if you told them what happened they would believe you were mentally insane and put you in a mental hospital. No god would punish you with internal suffering due to another god interfering with your life and making you kill someone. Everything stopping you from choosing someone is due to your subjective beliefs that were installed into you as a child by a parent who was born into a society that will probably change their moral standards in a couple hundred years based on their future subjective beliefs.

The only reason people think it’s morally right to kill yourself in this situation is because its such a rare incurrence and the fact that people have installed beliefs onto them.

When humans didn’t have a government protecting them back in the cave days it was every man for himself or rather animal. That happened because everyone didn’t have the comfort of not having to be scared of dying every 10 seconds.

If death did this to 10,000 people a day. Society standards would change dramatically as they rewrite laws to allow you to legally kill someone in this scenario and parents would instal the beliefs that you were more important then others regardless of what you think because then people will realize that they need to do this to survive and that morality is just a concept humans made.

I went off on a tangent there

In fact lets change the scenario a bit to test something.

Let’s say you were given a choice to either send a man who has helped thousands and a man who has killed thousands to heaven or hell. What would you choose? They both go together no matter what you pick

Assuming Death is telling the truth, there is no reason to not choose the second guy unless this is a xd tricky question cause the people he is about to kill would kill more
