So if people want to dismantle our alliance or whatever, then they should pick me.

As you pointed out, you also can provide information.
So I feel to see the benefit of voting you here.

If they want to end an alliance, they can vote me and it does the same.

The only actual reason someone should have to vote you is if they’re the MM and they want to avoid us having information because inherently information should be beneficial to us all.

anyway my point is that you could’ve voted yourself without locking it. that was unnecessary and I don’t see it as being beneficial because it was early in the second voting phase, and the only other person who locked their vote seems to be Trochi (who obviously didn’t vote for either of you).
