Simon how far in math are you

FK stop being a jerk if you asked for help

This isn’t the first time you act like this.

It’s not me trying to act like a jerk, it’s me trying to understand something I can’t understand. I’m pretty sure everyone here knows that I don’t mean to sound like a jerk and I’m just acting like this because I know them and I know they won’t take offense to me poking fun at them

he’s not being a jerk
we’re good :+1:

Also off topic:I hate people who pretend to be nice. They rub me off the wrong way and it makes me feel like they are trying to get something.

Like you know those people at school who go up to you and act like they are your friends despite never meeting them before

right now im in multivariable calculus (or calculus 3 i believe its referred to elsewhere) but i havent really learned anything in that yet due to technically difficulties

That can’t be a good learning experience

Also I have been told before that my tone rubs off people the wrong way when I’m just poking fun at people when I know they can take it. I would never be a jerk to someone for the purpose of being a jerk to someone, it’s kind of like how h_hja always responds to your post with something that is the exact opposite of what you asked but you learn to accept it because you know it’s just in jest.

I said I was going to try to be better because I felt like I was offending people but then someone told me something along the lines of look around you your nice

Then I thought about it some more and realized that the people I’m poking fun at aren’t getting offended, it’s the people who watch me poke fun at them who get offended when it shouldn’t be like that at all.

Pride successfully defended mission accomplish I can now cry myself to sleep

Honestly, I wonder if I could even integrate well anymore. I just have to program and do operations research thingies nowadays, which doesn’t involve heavy math.

Wait I thought programming involved a lot of math

Also significant figures is more on the science side then the math side I think

wouldn’t quote me on that

Hardly really.

It just involves scouring stackexchange over and over and over. :upside_down_face:

Question, you went to college right

what degree did you get

If college is university? yes. I’ve got one bachelor in Econometrics & Operations Research, a master in that and a master in Business Analytics. I didn’t want to work yet, so I did two.
