I agree that obvious alts obviously being alts of a certain person is not ideal

I said frankie had more experience than I did
in NewD3 some alts were obviously one person, some weren’t, I treated the ones who I couldn’t figure out as just rando people of whatever skill level they present themselves as
I mean, people do have to go through an Alt Moderator and get approved
We can just start being a little more strict when it comes to not acting like yourself when on an alt account

I don’t think you have an obligation to be Maximally Not You but you should probably cover up obvious things
if you’re playing Exactly Like You and it’s Obviously You then what’s the point of alting in the first place

I’m not actually sure how much of people being Obviously Them is them not trying to cover it up and how much is them not being good at it
like presumably Derps is not intentionally using ‘their’ instead of ‘they’re’ but it’s still a very strong Derpstell

I think that wolves should be able to speculate on alts
If it were up to me I would use MU standards with alts being allowed to be re-used and players allowed to speculate on alts in-thread

I think that the option to have an alt account is a good thing, and if you don’t want to use an alt account, you do not have to.
If you don’t want to sign up for games that allow alt accounts, you do not have to.
We aren’t forcing anyone into it.
But rather than saying “alts bad” why not try to give us some constructive criticism and let us know how we can improve the system? What rule changes do you want to see implemented?
Getting feedback and hearing complaints after implementation and testing is what propelled us to change rules 21 and 22.
I can’t guarantee that all suggestions will be implemented, but I can guarantee that they will be heard.
