PKR and Marshal I believe?
@Marshal plz confirm
I think you mean this. So PKR isn’t claiming Gambler, just getting the abilities.
cool
to be fair i didn’t read like 50% of the thread
was there two philo claims?
i remember there being two of something involving PKR
Well, I’m seeing where Marshal had an argument with himself being Gambler. Haha.
Intensify claims one of them
the 2nd one is either your slot or a drunk
The Drunk is an outsider who thinks they are townsfolk but has no ability. So I could be the drunk (who gambled myself as politician and confirmed myself as malfunctioning (either from being drunk outsider or from PKR’s ability)) or anyone else could be the drunk and we just don’t know.
My class is gambler, or at the very least I think it is. All I know is that my card says “gambler”
PKR is claiming to be philosopher → Gambler, which if true, would have made my abilities useless
I gambled myself as a class I was not, which would kill me if my abilities worked, but I lived, meaning they didn’t.
This is from me being the drunk outsider, or PKR making me malfunction
I can only be the drunk outsider if your slot is lying about your claim, which means if PKR is evil and I am the drunk outsider, you also have to be evil.
good evening my fellow townies
how was everyone’s day?

Okay, trying to see if I understand all this. So the other scenario is I’m Saint, you are truly Gambler but malfunctioned due to PKR, and PKR is truly Philosopher gaining Gambler abilities.

Hi Cantaloupe. Not sure how I’m feeling at the moment. Trying desperately not to let them lose this game for town. I replaced in and have revealed that I’m actually Saint and not the Politician that App was claiming for some reason.
Yes
and in that scenario it’s likely just Arctic/Night
someone convince me why the hell a saint would ever claim politician
and in that scenario it’s likely just Arctic/Night
Yeah, and I guess that’s why App was thinking it was them.
but i’ve made my stance very clear in that I think app’s play basically never comes from saint.
I’ll re-evaluate in the morning I guess but I think if I yeet whysperslot I just win so i want to do that
someone convince me why the hell a saint would ever claim politician
My only guess is he was trying to trick info out of someone.
…and a politician claim is useful because?
Because he was trying to get scum to trust him and think he was siding with them
My original guess for app’s behaviour is that he wanted to bait holder into barber swapping with him
but it makes 0 sense to keep it past d1 after that didn’t happen, so that doesn’t explain it
Realistically I just can’t wrap my head around app!saint ever being possible
I think whysper was likely instructed to claim saint as a last-ditch
Ah- I see. Executing a saint claim is indeed dangerous to do, as the Minions attempted to execute the Saint Day 1 in the previous game. However, I find it suspicious that your(slot)'s claim only changed after being disproven as politician, which reduces your claim’s credibility.
Well, in your position, I can see why that seems likely. And unfortunately I can’t explain App’s reasoning.
