[Class Suggestion] Queen (Special)

(Please read to the “comments” to see why this class could be considered “overpowered”.)

Queen (Good, Neutral, or Evil) - A very powerful matriarch with the ability to protect… or destroy.

Passive 1:
Mourning Veil - Daytime executions recharge your “Iron Glove” ability if it is at zero.

Passive 2:
Royal Blood - You may put your name forward to become King.

Day Ability:
Guiding Hand - Convert the King to your alignment if his alignment is one step away from yours. A failed attempt will only tell the king someone tried to convert him, and you will not be notified that it failed. This will tell the King there is a Queen who is against him. (Single use.)

Explanation:

[Blue Dragon] [Neutral] [Evil]
^ You can only move the King ONE step either way, to the same alignment as yourself. If you are Blue Dragon and the King is Evil, you cannot move him over because that’s “two steps” away.

Night Ability 1:
Velvet Glove - Heal all players who visit you if they are attacked. (Limited use. Four?)

Night Ability 2:
Iron Glove - Attack all players who visit you, killing them. (Single use, but recharged with “Mourning Veil” passive.)

Lore:
Married off to the King at a young age in order to create peace between lands, you barely know your husband and rarely see him. Your seclusion has allowed you to build knowledge and power among the King’s most loyal subjects. You are loved and feared in equal measure for your life-saving abilities and murderous acts of vengeance.

Comments:
The Queen is the most powerful piece on the chess board, so I have created a purposefully “OP” class that might shake the game up in fun and crazy ways. Your alignment (Good, Neutral, Evil) doesn’t have to match the King’s. Neither you nor the King will know the other’s alignment. You do not confer with other evil players if you are evil.

Does anyone know who the Queen is like the King?

IMHO, no. My version of the Queen is like a shut-in figurehead who is in the shadow of the King, but is actually capable of controlling him/his people. Sort of like a shadow government. XD

However, I’m always open to people leaving suggestions, etc.

How about you give her a day ability that makes the target target you that night. Give it 2 or 3 uses.

Chess nerding intesfies

Now all we need is a Rook and a bishop

I love this class.

This is very interesting

I assume that Evil Queens don’t meet with the evil factions and Neutral Queens have to survive I guess? Clarification would be nice

I’m not sure how this would fare in the game, but it has potential and I think it could work

I do, however, think that a Neutral Queen should not have the option to use guiding hand

I see what you mean with last part that make sense.

Added the “you do not confer with other evil players if you are evil” thing. I know what you mean about Neutral “Guiding Hand”. I’ll think that one over and see what comes up.

Imagine being an Evil Queen in game and convincing everyone to visit you for Velvet Glove, only to noscope Veteran bait the entire castle.

I think the healing ability is unique and interesting.

Using Guiding Hand and revealing yourself to the King can be risky. It could be extremely beneficial, or it could be devastating if he was the opposite alignment of you.

u forgot cult.

I’d imagine “Evil” = Cult or Unseen, depending on what spawned in the game, just like the Evil King.

Insanity is right though.

The Unseen version of King is indeed called Evil King.

So does the Cult version, in ToL.

It’s called Cult King.

In ToL the Cult King is called the Evil King
