I don’t think we could please all of us with trying to decide Blessing’s effect.

Should we just give the Priest Reanimate alongisde Renewal and let it be a unit that uses its abilities carefully; like the Hunter

We could do a variant of mine that only swaps immunity’s

So, just to organize our thoughts:

  1. Conversion immunity idea was denied
  2. Recharging abilities idea was denied
  3. Reanimate idea was denied
  4. Guaranteed success idea was denied
  5. Switching passives idea was denied

I’m trying to think of something here, just posting this to help you guys do the same.

And just checking, but we’re keeping Renewal? Or does that need some fixing up to do as well

Keeping Renewal would go against number 2 on the list, but it’s your choice.

I mean I find that the difference of a limited Renewal and unlimited Recharge ability is that with Renewal, you’d have to be smart and see what’s really worth recharging. It has strategy. Whereas unlimited Recharge is just spam spam spam, soooo yeah

We’re working on a second night ability, but yeah, Sheriff doesn’t need recharge, Sheriff is a strong independent man

Okay so, here’s what we know:

  1. The Priest will be a Support class
  2. He has to have something related to Blessing. We simply need that.

Knowing that… how do we proceed?
As far as Blue Dragon is concerned, the already existing supports cover the following areas:

  1. Healing.
  2. Reanimating.
  3. Swapping Position.
  4. Protect against negative effects.

Taking my list into consideration, some options that match being Blessed would be:

  1. Grant Death Immunity? (Direct death, not poison/bleed)
  2. Assure that the target will bypass immunities? (That means you can occupy people who can’t be occupied, you can kill who can’t be killed. You just can’t convert classes who can’t be converted, but that’s obvious.) (I know this looks like 4 from my list, but it’s different)
  3. Assure that the target will successfully receive or give beneficial actions? (Heals, Guards, etc…)

What about this?

Night Ability 1: Blessing - Prevent anyone from visiting your target. Anything that happens to you also happens to your target. While using this Ability you are Occupy immune. (Unlimited)

Note: Occupying or redirecting a priest that is doing this will instead only Occupy or redirect the target in the same way.

I’m going to merge your ideas into this one kinda.

Blessing: (Night) (Unlimited)
Choose a target. Any beneficial night action done to you (Heals, Guards, Barriers, Sacrifices, etc.) is done to the target as well. Occupying does not carry onto the target because you would be occupied.

Man, your idea is great in my opinion, but for a second night ability, like a limited one, you know?
3 uses. Any heals, guards, barriers, etc. used on you or your target are shared between you both. If he gets healed, you get healed, if you get guarded, he gets guarded. You could even name it something like “Spread the Love” or “Spread the Religion” :stuck_out_tongue:.
