Right now there is exactly one anti X Neut and it is sellsword

I know, but if scorned received these changes then it would be anti-BD. I didn’t mean that there were too many anti-X neutrals, just that true neutrals are better. They’re called NEUTRAL for a reason.

That depends on the purpose of that spacific class.

For classes like Alch and Merc that is absolutely true.

For classes like Scorned and Sellsword going against BD is required for them to achieve their purpose (note: purpose != Wincon)

Classes like Fool, Pretender and Inquisitor are weird and can really go either way. The reason to make Fool anti-BD is to make the class harder and vice versa for making him pro-BD. Same thing for Inquisitor and Pretender

TLDR: Scorned ought be Anti-BD so that a win for scorned requires scorned to deceve others and so that an accuser is likely to be scorned making that an actual defence in a counterclaim.

The reason scorned worked was because she wins after the flip and thus don’t need to care about the retribution for the play. Alternatively giving scorned a day defile (a defile that resolves during the day. Does not have to be a day ability) would accomplish the same effect

Since current Scorned can’t do that she is disincentivised to accuse BD. Since she has stalk and doesn’t care which faction is lynched she is incentivised to accuse real scum further defeating the point

Neutral Evils are both extremely useful and usually necessary to help NK and scum.

We need more of them.

Just keep talking here. Duh

Does anyone have any big issues with my idea of marking a player and having only marked players being lynched count towards your objective?

Tbh, I’d rather give Boslof a break. He has a point that he can’t really satisfy everyone as we all have different visions of what the Scorned should be and we don’t have much feedback on it as of yet.

I’m not always talking to Boslof. I can discuss things here so that I have a more fleshed out idea later
