Although I think a 2 use Ice Ward + Tornado would work as night abilities. CW doesn’t need infinite abilities, and I think Ice Ward would be a fun power.

You don’t understand the magic
Of sacarsm

Also. Lets go down the list of things it bypasses and situations where it can help:

Frame/Tailor: This counters - Duchess, Aristocrat, MM, Apostle, Ritualist, Fool and Scorned. Hitting any given one of those on it’s own isn’t that likely but considering that there is almost always at least 1 of those in play being able to help a sheriff bypass them is super helpful. Even if the person wasn’t framed it also removes that defense for them if you out. And if the sheriff is wrong then you know it was because they were lying rather than because the target was framed.

Occupy/Redirect: This counters - Servant, Poacher, Alcoholic, Sage, Invoker and Ritualist. Again, any gvien one of these isn’t likely but the odds of at least 1 of them appearing in a game is high enough to be meaningful. Especially when you consider that Sage and Ritualist are conversions that the MM/CL would be specifically looking for. Plus it also stops butlers and drunks who are using their ability’s randomly if you happen to know something they don’t

Death immunity: This counters - Possessor, MM, King, Scorned, Sorcerer, Alchemist, Mercenary, Inquisitor. This is by far the least likely buff to matter. However it is the most impactful when it does. Fairly straightforward. You can use a CW to kill a MM or Poss.

Occupy immunity: This counters - MM, Possessor, Sorcerer, Scorned, Fool, Mercenary, Servant, Alcoholic, Invoker, Poacher. This one is the MOST likely to matter. It can be used to lock down an assassin or CL forever like I already said and can also be used to get a clutch win against an NK or MM.

Visit Prevention: This counters - Prince, Mercenary, Enforcer, Sage, Poacher. This has lots of utility and can let you do things such as investigate or heal someone in jail and makes sure that WoF has counterplay.

Oh no

If duchess use dark wisp I WANT THE COURT WIZARD NOT TO HIDE THAT.

It’s the only thing that makes duchess actually good

This cw is too powerful

Remember, it only helps against Frame/Tailor on Sheriff/Pally.

It only stops Death Immunity on Knight (or Assassin, CL, or NK)

It only stops Occ immunity on Drunk/Butler.

Which makes 4 classes it can help with any of this. The only thing that is likely to work is on visit prevention, which would rarely swing games.

Too op plz nerf

Also princess and obs. And also literally everyone for mindwarp which it also blocks

And it also stops occupy. Not just bypassing it.

Oh ya true.

Mindwarp

A) Rarely shows up
B) Is not a huge threat on non investigative.

Princess/Obs is unaffected by Tailor (excluding Obs Window Peak, which is less frequent than Follow)

And Framing is rare from Scorned/Fool. Even with the new Aristocrat, it would be incredibly rare.

Actualy princess is effected by frame. Both by seeing the target attack with wisp and seeing the target as K/O with flirt. (I wonder if seeker or other scum Investigative classes are effected by frame.)

And the Butler thinking his target is occupy immune is no small deal.

I didn’t say Princess wasn’t affected by Frame. I said they weren’t affected by Tailor.

I don’t think its that complicated. It has a high skill ceiling, sure. But its skill floor isn’t as high as most people make it up to be. You will help anyone you use empower on, regardless of their class. Sure, you might need to know their class to know what you are doing, but you will still be helping just by empowering randoms.
And both siphon and mimic give a positive effect regardless of the class you use it on.

I really like CW 1, because it offers more strategic choices for more advanced players while still being useful for new players.
I also like CW 2, since redirecting attacks was always the most meaningful part of tornado. Though it seems more like an offensive class than a support one tbh.
CW 3 and 4 are definitely useful and maybe even more powerful than the first two. However, Im not sure people would find them fun since they are both really similar to current CW. Sure, they might be helpful but I don’t think they would be as engaging as the first two.
