true DK might be a pain in the butt as an evil but that’s no reason to remove it, it should be reworked into something that works better imo
That’s psychic’s fault though not the dead, he is the one that told him. You could give illusionist call of the dead, also the psychic could be jailed you never know
Dead interaction definitely isn’t a core feature.
But the fact is that dead interaction is fun, and allows interesting abilities. While I’m not gonna stop playing because it was removed, it’s a step backwards and makes the game worse.
Of course, we should do this better than in the previous system, but it’s a mistake to remove it. The problems it was removed for do exist, but it isn’t inherent to dead interaction. We can and should work around these problems, rather than deciding we shouldn’t have these powers.
We shouldn’t work around a problem. We should FIX IT. Not put a band aid on the problem!!!

To me, dead interactions are absolutely essential to making the game endurable over multiple plays; something doesn’t have to show up every time in order to significantly impact the game, since it is the long-term experience over many games that matters rather than any one play.
That’s why I’ve been saying the solution is to revert the patch entirely, not to try and work around it; the most recent patch damaged the gameplay, and we ought to focus on getting it reverted as quickly as possible before we waste time discussing more complex refinements.
@Aquillion Everything besides the removal of dead interaction is good, so it shouldn’t be entirely reverted.
I mean I would absolutely prefer a total revert of the patch over having it in its current state; none of the features it added are worth the damage done by that change. But yeah, obviously the dead interaction is the part I’m talking about.
