I’ve been busy with college lately which is why I’ve taken a break.
True but then some of the classes would require a bit of reworking to make them more fun at night. I have no idea how this would happen though

I don’t see that as a bad thing.
In fact, given the current stale game climate, that’d be a boon.
One thing that’s occurred to me is to make some forms of feedback more one-sided
e.g. to inform the Physician that they successfully healed their target, but not inform their target that they were healed
this obviously does provide some confirmability but it reduces some of the problematic aspects
You were attacked by an Assassin [13] but healed back to health by a Physician [3] and Alchemist [5]!
Why not double down?
Honestly even with this 13 would still live
This was basically launch ToL
Agreed. Redundant feedback in general should be removed. You don’t need to be told you were redirected twice, you could just be told your final redirection target. And if you are redirected and occupied, you should just be told you were occupied
An ISO feature.
Basically the opposite approach of everything else in this thread. Instead of trying to make mechanically solving the game harder (which we should also do on top of this), making it more accessible to preform scumreading via QoL changes like an ISO would encourage doing so.
Oh yeah, been wanting that for ages
I know there were more similar features but I don’t remember them off the top of my head
It’s the feature I want the most by far. Even moreso than changing Pretender, buffing NK’s or even doing something about the fool.
No ISO. That would make the difference between experienced players and normal players even wider.
Get your Fool Loving Social Hating Law abiding ass out of here.
How so?
Hey, as the OP of the thread, let’s try to not to dismiss opinions out of hand because of their source. Engage with the arguments, don’t just attack the person.
God for-fucking-bid good players have ways to use their experience
Like actually what the fuck
Not really. It helps everyone and encourages those normal players to use the tools us more experienced players use in forum matches. That means normal players will utilize more tools, which is a bigger jump than experienced players having more efficient access to tools they already use.
Unless you are talking about scum, to which I’d like to point out that scum is disproportionately harder in a higher skill environment, so no shit a change designed to give the average player the tools to start using advanced skills (and thus become a better player faster) is going to start to make scum harder.
Although I wouldn’t say that this nerfs scum either, since if scumreading becomes the norm over mechanical deduction, then that means a good scum can more reliably than right now get a misslynch that doesn’t lead to themselves being lynched. Since a scum read can be valid but still wrong on occasion, while mechanical deduction rarely is baring frames.
See I’m still unable to comprehend the idea that we should have low skill ceilings because players that aren’t as good will feel bad
