DR5 - Mirrored Embers - Chapter Six - Finale [Surviving Participants + Jane win]

eevee your vote detection ability isn’t real
lol

1st of all, everything I said about votes was true.

2nd of all, it is not a thing which indicates MM was alive.

“the one thing i haven’t actually done”

this was a really bad reaction to getting suspected as the killer in chapter 2

why are you saying this now with less than 3 hours left when trochi has been the consensus vote since the start of the trial

stop being cryptic and out what it is

the only things semi-convincing in trochi’s ISO for them being participant are the posts about the roleplay (which honestly probably doesn’t even mean much) and their murder plan, although the murder plan was once again presented in a way to flaunt that they’re going to murder people

it’s very clear that trochi wanted us to think they were going to kill

this is looking more like an actual slip

the mastermind sees the killer on the cameras, but obviously the hosts tell them what happened
there’s literally no reason for trochi to have said that the fates couldn’t tell the MM who the killer was when that’s not what happens anyway, unless of course they didn’t get told who the killer was

I was saying this since… Jane trial?

eevee your ‘ability’ to calculate the vote weight does not help us decide if troch is the MM

the only way it would was if jane had more vote weight than trochi, which would mean someone was lying but i guess this isn’t the case since you haven’t said so

Arctic.

I am utterly disappointed in your ability to read.

And also yes, noone was lying about votes either.

reading min's ISO really does not make me think they are MM more than participant but i still want to post my case on them i sent to katze a while ago because yes

i’ll just post my min stuff now i guess (it’s pretty much what i sent with katze but with some edits since some things have changed)

the first thing is that in the chapter 3 and 4 class trials they’ve sounded very similar to how they did in sfol65 where they were the sellsword, effectively
i could just be getting this confused with treeing and a lack of investment, but most of the time they’ve really seemed like they have… no idea what they’re doing, which is what they said when they were outted as bureaucrat in sfol65

secondly, they’ve been very paranoid about dying (this part alone is NAI) despite having such a little amount invested in the game (this is why it’s weird)
they complained about treeing the chapter 3 trial… then proceeded to do the exact same thing in the chapter 4 trial… and have done little in the trials regardless
so i feel like there’s a bit of a disconnect between how much they’ve put in the game and how much they care about it

@min you said that you were demotivated after your friends died, but who exactly was this? trochi? he only died in chapter 3, so what were you doing in chapters 1 and 2?

at first this point said i thougt they were lying about their ultimate since they claimed that it literally just deleted the evidence from a crime scene which obviously does not exist
but now i’m intrigued because this doesn’t really match up with what they claimed their ultimate to be now… so i’d like this to be explained as well

lastly, from a lore perspective it min being MM kind of makes sense
crazy spoilt rich kid buys their way into a game meant for the best magical students, then fucks everything up - especially since it was unlikely min would ever become the ultimate mage himself

also i’m pretty sure i remember the news article accused the people behind the organisation of ‘nepotism’ when it referenced min
nepotism by definition requires that the organisation knows the individual beforehand, either as family or as a friend - so this is kind of weird
does min somehow have other connections to timoleon silverheart that we don’t know about or is this just an oversight :joy_cat:

can you explain how you can tell whether trochi is MM from it then

Not long remains. The End draws close.

Why Am I Still Here

every person in the PoE has made me doubt socially they are mastermind much more strongly than trochi

min

i wrote my post on them earlier
reading their ISO however does not make me think they are MM, and there are many more things in it which make me think they are participant
this only holds so much weight when they had little contribution to most of the trials/investigations, but then again that applies to like the entire PoE

crich

nightingale’s murder plans seemed legitimate and reading crich’s behaviour before the TWTBAW in this trial makes me think he’s not MM, as well
though i still don’t understand why nightingale felt a need to out her murder plans and without a logical reason it could always be trying to force out a murder plan to gain towncred
i would vote here if i didn’t vote trochi, and i’ll feel relatively stupid if it is crich with how they’ve been acting this chapter

apprentice

i doubt mastermind would try to get that much attention chapter 1, and apprentice never really flaunted his catch of derps in a way that MM would to try and gain towncred
his claim about the note in the box saying that they won’t tell him who the MM was just seemed really genuine to me
so if he’s actualy MM, then well played there tbh

pkr - this only exists if the sun elixir could have been found somewhere other than the inverted castle, which… i’m actually probably going to ask hosts if this is possible
not that we’re going to CFD anyway
aside from this, claiming to vote jane immediately before others had claimed their vote makes me think he’s probably not MM, as that would be incredibly risky if the vote weight didn’t add up and they (or someone else claiming to have voted jane) would be outted as lying
the only thing pinging me is how amelia claimed they would have less wim as MM but then… also said they had incredibly low wim :joy_cat:

trochi

the only lore we’ve found that isn’t clears points towards trochi

trochi’s behaviour in chapter 3 was incredibly weird, especially how they were refusing to say where they got the potion from and randomly going to the obelisk at the start of chapter 3. this is easily the most damning thing, and when you look at this with the line in the theatre it really doesn’t inspire confidence
originally i thought the line from the clip would have been too obvious, but it’s like one of the only things we’ve actually found pointing towards someone, instead of just a clear

part of me is still tinfoiling tangeld writing her own loreclear, especially since the letters written by the mastermind said ‘I’ve done the math’ which is exactly what tangeld said in her theatre clip
if this is actually true then i’m going to cry
i really hope it was just the writing style of the host and nothing more

eevee if you can hard clear trochi somehow you should probably explain it

nothing you’ve said sounds like it confirms the MM was alive to me

only that they told the truth about their votes?

@katze do you think this is a thing

also if you reread CH2 deadly life I think night talking about murder plans makes more sense

the plausiability of this goes up or down a ton depending on context

I’ll try to read more in a bit

like i just feel normal participant would say

‘they don’t know who the killer is’

i need to check if the fates ever actually explicitly said they couldn’t tell the mastermind who the killer was
