Have you even read the reasons you shouldn’t claim on the stand. I really don’t think you did.
Either way, even though you think it’s dumb. dumb does not equal gamethrowing.

i love how in a game about lying there’s now a rule that says exactly when and where you’re allowed to lie as a paticular allignment
it’s understandable but also very restrictive for the people who actually WANT to win games by FPSing as BD
what is FPSing? edit: nvm I found it means fancy play syndrome lol
Fancy Play Syndrome
I’ve never been banned for fake claiming as heathen or the rare few times I’ve fake claimed as bd in jail.
but the rule does discourage risky but rewarding play.
(Also I do think fake claiming for the sake of fake claiming to prince is really bad and should only be done If it helps bd in that situation).
In what possible way could it help BD to lie in jail as BD.
Ok so I’ve said this but prince is likely to execute knight claims especially if there are around 3.
I was the third knight, claimed physician and later confirmed myself by getting a kill and he jailed me so I fake claimed and he didn’t waste all his executes
While it’s rare and typically shouldn’t be done, it can help bd
I think I’ve lied once in jail and … about three times on stand. Every single time it was a 500iq play in extreme cases, which saved BD the game or had the potential to save BD. It was never just to save my own skin. So it’s about 4 times in about 2800 games.
I think it’s easy for mods/Judges to tell if it’s throwing or not.
but yes most cases it’s likely to be a throw to lie on trial/jail.
Playing to save your own skin as a heathen hurts bd more than helps it, at least 97.5% of the time, if not more.
So where’s the evidence of this claim. Back up your number claim with evidence.
No evidence needed, go and play ToL and look for yourself ^^
played tol before and false claimed and it works
It doesn’t work everytime, but it works a lot of the time
That’s the complete opposite of what I have seen, then. If you really know what you are doing, it’s fine to fake claim, but there’s almost never a need to fake claim to prince or on stand.
how am i supposed to have verifiable evidence? I’m not a dev.
This is just my best estimation across dozens and dozens and dozens of games played, across over 750 hours during about a year and a half of play time.
Fake Claiming only works if you do it right. I don’t know what games you played, but I’m assuming that they did it wrong if it has a 97 percent chance of failing from your account.
