FK & Intensify, need to read Intensify for this, Intensify actually has some drive behind their posts and feel relaxed, contrasting to their scum meta in JOAT^2, where they felt more frozen. Fine, slapping a townread on that.

Reading earlier I remember people calling intensify scum for getting a early town read on Cloned despite the fact that people who haven’t played with Cloned before find him hard to town read. I disagree with this read, because it ignores the context of why he made the read, which is dumb, especially in a mash. Intensify probably, looking at it from his perspective , town read cloned there because he agreed with this part of Cheese’s post.

This reasoning for caring so much about this feels like it came from town, simply because it would be a hard reason to come up with on his own if they were mafia as he wouldn’t be focused on whether or not that was actually AI for orange, he would be focused on doing whatever seems townie- which, in this case if he were mafia, he probably thought that it would seem townie to seem persistent on wanting a scum game from orange to determine if it was AI. Could be wrong about this read as it delves into the motivation for doing something, and he could actually just feel bad as mafia, but /shrug.

TLDR:Think intensify is townie because his reason for wanting a scum game from orange seems unlikely to come from him if he was scum.

I know I agree with Intensify more likely town, but I will add that scum sometimes feels more apologetic or “dirty” about making intentionally wrong reads, so I’m not 100% on board with this argument. Wait, I’m rereading it again now and you said that at the end, okay never mind, It’s almost bedtime. Feeling comfortable with Firekitten for early game at least. That’s with an asterisk of reevaluate later always, because Firekitten is a strong player.

Vulgard always writes wordy posts, so I’m feeling like skipping for now.

thread contains a lot of wolves, i think. we’re getting an awful lot of x/x interaction assesments for 700 posts into a mash, which indicates that there’s a lot of agenda being pushed, i think, simply by how people are interacting adverserially enough that this becomes a meaningful comparison to make

people usually only make v/v w/w v/w analysis like, say, that thing conroy did earlier, when there’s adverserial and meaningful interactions in the thread- you usually only get that kind of assesment on friendly buddy buddy interactions once the dust has settled on them

i’ve never seen people try and asses that so often so quick, and my best guess is that there’s a lot of agenda-pushing that’s making people butt heads this early

Okay, I still like these posts, but overall ISO less so. To get a better grasp I have to read other players to see if Ici’s reads make sense and I’m not feeling up for that, so they’ll stay here.

Vulgard’s post on Astand’s ISO, well Astand doesn’t really blow me away with their ISO, so I can live with Vul’s argument of a scumlean and will be fine on seeing, where that might go.

Haven’t seen Sulit do the thing that makes me townread them usually yet.

Tangled is either defensive or trying to be funny, which is either way not a good look.

Meeh mildly revoking the Italy townread, considering Sulit prompted that tell in their second post, so can’t really read reliably based on that.
