but I woulda rather an abil or two
More focus on abilities creates issues where balance becomes several magnitudes more swingy

Not going to lie I basically ignored the weapons thing apart from changing to the weapon that was bad against fewer things
Maybe don’t have ITAs, but a duel mechanic? If you duel someone, both sides are given info about the other’s weapons and it becomes more of a mindgame of who swaps and how.
Would be a pain in the ass to do this (for the hosts), though.
My role literally relied on it, so I tried to think of ways to make it work for the entire game.

It’s kinda funny because in FE4 and FE5, the weapon triangle is super relevant.
I think that bonuses in the games are like 20%? I don’t know, I’ve never played any FE games myself, I’ve just watched some videos.
In fe4 WT is 30%
In fe5 it’s 5%
