Ah right, I remember that read. It was kinda unfounded, considering Andrej had posted little to no reasoning for his reads and at some points seemed to be picking targets at random. There’s no way a locktown would be a justified read, unless Andrej is such a chronic slacker as scum that even a little activity is enough to make him look town. Again, I can’t give deeper commentary on meta reads since I don’t know the meta. Ignoring meta as I currently have to when making independent reads, I’d say this was an attempt to give Andrej towncred since Dat was initially quite high in many of our townreads.
While I understand the point, I don’t think reads supported (or in my opinion at the time) at least by walls and ISOs that turn out wrong are exactly comparable to almost random not even barebones reads. I think I got Solic wrong because of a lack of meta knowledge: he seemed super scummy in his reads in conjunction with his interactions with Kai, but that was apparently normal for his town game.
Andrej’s reads are almost entirely unsupported by reasoning and/of evidence. Now, I don’t have a comprehensive knowledge of newb behaviour either since I am a newb. With that said, under my current interpretations, I am confident that he is scum.
Despite that, I am happy with hearing more from those townreading him, since I’m unable to give a fully meta-informed read at this time.
