Irrelevant of anything else, would you not play because you have less than equal chance to wim?

I wouldn’t enjoy playing a game where all I and the other player do is roll dice, and whoever gets the higher number wins

I wouldn’t enjoy it less if I were rolling a d12 and they were rolling a d20

At least an even chance, yes.

and conversely I wouldn’t start enjoying it if I were the one with the d20

again, gambling proves that that feeling is not shared

Arete, you are avoiding the question.
Ignoring everything else, would ypu not play it because you don’t have at least an equal chancd to in?

We are not talking about gambling. Where did I even mention that?

I literally already said that my chances to win have nothing to do with how much I wouldn’t want to play this game

I don’t know what else you want

You are saying that you wouldn’t play because of something that I told you to ignore to make my point.

RNG = Random Number Gambling???

Your point is literally nonsensical because there are many many many cases of people doing exactly what you’re trying to say they wouldn’t do

like jake people play games where it is inheretly less likely for them to lose than to win

example, roulette

and you know why people play it

fun

Most common forms of gambling are either pseudorandom or random

I don’t see why you don’t want a fair game for everyone. A fair game and a fun game and a social deduction game is possible.

Not by your definition of fair

My definition of fair is that regardless of what you are, you have the same standard and equal average win %

I want the game to be fair, I just don’t think that ‘everyone has a 33 percent chance to win at rand’ is inherently equivalent to fair

Why wouldn’t it be fair?

I’m not necessarily saying it wouldn’t be, but I think there are ways for it to be fair and for that not to be the case
