If you do NAR, your ability goes through, but your ability result gets canceled if there is an inconsistency
be CW
empower Butler
get occupied by the same Butler
still manage to empower-aid the Butler
Which means, in a full feedback game, you would get a lot of wrong feedback
Not really
Iām using NAR exactly how it is written
Full feedback NAR:
Phys: I healed 16
Drunk: no I redirected you to 5 successfully
Ritualist: But I swapped 16 and 2 successfully
16: No he really healed me from an attack! You both lie!
I donāt see how what Iām saying is different than NAR with full feedback
You just add in all the steps that give feedback into the feedback
Because the āsuccessfullyā is obviously a lie
Your feedback contradicts each other
Its okay, Ill never be able to understand it but it doesnt matter. As long as Arete manages to understand it its fine
If youāre an attacker in ToL
If you target a person healed and are able to actually attack them, you get the feedback that your succeed in the attack despite the kill not going through
This is my memory so possibly wrong
My system has no contradictions with yours
At all
ā¦Honestly, my plan is ākeep asking Geyde about everything,ā
The point of me clarifying everything is so that I donāt have to do this
Thats what I was afraid of
You have to learn the system so you can deal with problems on your own
This all makes senseā¦ But only when you played FM for years already
It is the ToL system
Not at all. Tol resolves abilities. NAR resolves results
NAR just kills the complexity of the mechanics and says just āit doesnt make sense, so just cancle the resultā
But it doesnt change the original ability
So in NAR the phys is healing 16
But another player comes and says: you lie, the swap from 16 to 2 was really there!
In tol an ability doesnt get randomly canceled for some players, but successful for other players
