And the rule of not listening to me about FK still in effect
Itāll be scary when people do. (And knowing my luck it will be the one day I am wrong on it)

Agreed I hope we improve a lot as a site.
We improve by lynching people who do this until they stop.
Since we canāt touch them due to lolmeta then people will never improve.
Seems like youāve seen this before?
I share the same sentiments as Alice here.
We talked about this yesterday and she pointed out that much of this lolmeta thing began in one of the newbie games where she was an Evil Queen. One of the players that was a newbie wolfclaimed there and she tried pushing on him and go immediately wolfread for that.
From what sheās said, ever since that game this lolmeta thing was established where itās impossible to push on certain players because they act wolfy regardless of their alignment.
I agree some players are harder to push on
However some you have to read the wolfy and see whether itās their town wolfy or not. Scummy doesnāt always mean scum and some players have their own struggles
And sometimes direction matters too. If too much pushback another direction may be warranted eg find scum in the defenders
What matters is that people here generally try and improve their play as both town and scum, pointers post game help us immensely.
This is the problem.
There should never be a villager wolfy.
Thereās no tutorial for villagers how to seem villagery, soā¦ /shrug
No matter the level of skill of players this is always the case.
I am an Aspie and bring different skills towards reading people. If I expected everyone to meet my definition of towny there would be problems.
What matters is the soul if all people are honestly trying they will get better.
I still donāt get it why people are still doing this.
Point is.
This wholly depends on the setup.
Indeed. In ToL it can be quite good to claim d1, as quite a lot of classes.
In the PC game thatās not really forum mafia. Itās a quick social game
FOL with search functions generally bad to claim until lylo or game is locked in by mass claim or you have a guilty
This is typically something you donāt want to encourage setup wise however, as it makes it blander. This is why we strived to reduce a lot of the confirmability in FoL.
It should be common sense here.
If a game can be solved by only mass-claiming without bothering about reads. Then itās shit and broken.
Sorry, not sorry.
New players are doing this.
However town hunting/blocking is important
Taking into account lack of social knowledge and language/timezone barriers is important.
New players/players who never had a mentor are in a unique situation
Number 2 is touch and go imo, yes donāt worry about your appearance, but donāt overpost when you can think out clear, concise things you want to say
