It’s kind of hard to say, I like reads but the reads have to have reasoning behind them and can’t be forced.
I feel like having reads without reasoning is somewhat forced because why would you feel like someones scum if you have nothing you can read about someone.
So it depends on how strong the read or opinion is.
I understand me saying that we shouldn’t force sogman can be me trying to defend him or cause us to have less infomation but I don’t feel right about forcing out reads or opinions out on someone especially a new player, doesn’t mean I won’t ask for why you feel a way on someone IF you do have a read on someone.
I dont think forcing a read out of a new person would be bad, from what iv read they arent expected to be correct or have a super strong read its just getting their opinion
Not really “gut reads” just a excuse to me, if you have no formal opinion on someone then a gut read is pretty much made up or forced.
Derp wasn’t a gut read in that case either he did have some opinions on me based off his read.
Nah man gut reads are important they are like when someone says something and u cant pinpoint an exact reason but it feels off. Gut is your best friend in these things, if you see something off just speak your mind about it

Not true. If you expressly state it’s a gut read and people can gauge that you’re being authentic, it’s not sus to make a gut read. Gut reads can also have minimal info to back them
I just don’t believe in gut reads personally I feel like it’s a weak argument. I always believe in reasoning behind a read other then “just feel off about this person” if you feel like someone could be scum the best thing to do is read there posts and think about what makes you feel that way.
