I see them as a safe lynch for the day. If they’re Neutral we lose the Neutral that can get in our way and if they’re Scum we lose a scum. I see no negative effect in lynching them. Let’s say they aren’t Crusader, we lynch a Town, everyone is going to trust them.
Counterpoint: Leaving a self-claimed nontown to the Prince allows us to lynch anyone today, while the Prince has a guaranteed non-town kill tonight.
