I donāt use meta unless itās on a player that can be easily meta-read. In general I prefer to just use past games to estimate their wolfranges.
people can use alts to try out other pronouns
people can use alts to try to give up a meta where nobody actually bothers trying to read them
people can use alts to try to actively be less toxic
people can use alts to help them feel less dysphoric in real life
using alts because a personās community perception doesnt make them happy is totally valid and i think there shouldnāt be a culture of alt-hunting that actively seeks to invalidate that

if we stop alt-hunting, then the people doing it for emotional investment will stop actively making themselves harder to read in order to not get hunted out
ill at least strongly discourage alt spec in any games i host

anyways the vague point of my posting is to hopefully help people like orange actually understand a bit more that alts serve more purposes than āgaining an in-game advantageā

It really wasnāt that polarized imo
like, they do post as a wolf but they dont put anyy effort into actually making them decent and wouldnt put up a fight
thatās what I do, I get a model and can use that model to find patterns in someones gameplay
