@everyone This just in . The Neutrals are on strike. They trained all their lives to PROTECT and HEAL you. They are singing ♫Give neuttsss a chanceeee♫ – can you hear them? Alchemists can heal you throughout the game, giving BD a giant advantage. Mercenaries can protect you and get bad guys killed if they vote against their target. Statistically , the Mercenary is most likely guarding a BD. Also, statistically, Alchemist will most likely side with BD due to sheer numbers: Neutrals want to side with the winning team. By killing off neutrals (at least early game), you are buying the bad guys +1 day to convert another member AND +1 or 2 more kills for the night. You only get 1 treason kill per day, #neutsin FOR BD!!

but in my view the culture of NeutsIn is not just something the playerbase magically agreed upon, it’s something that was engineered by the devs and pretty much every Guide+ back in the olden days
and neutsin has problems when it comes to balance

but neuts are commonly kingmakers

so if i can kill a neut for free i will usually do it shrug

if we assume players won’t kill alchemists upon sight unless they actually announce their intention to make the Prince “die of the plague”, that actually significantly limits our balance ability
