Ding! You have made a primitive hammer. Looks as if it could smash an annoying brat’s head in
(my boy is a carpenter he a good constructer)
The same raven as before soon perched on a tree, watching the shipwrecked.
“sure. we might end up using a hammer later on, but for now that may not be necessary”
alright, so ima describe my plan for the shelter descriptively rather than in words because this is easier.
first, one end of the shelter will be shorter than the other, to allow rainwater to run off rather than pool in the ceiling.
the ceiling and walls will have a lining of the sail material, as it is heavily waxed to the point where its waterproof to withstand the winds and rains of the sea. however its pretty tattered and will probably have leaks, so thats why im having jackson gather some leaves. palm fronds would work for that or just big wide leaves.
the rope is to lash the floorboards together and the rods in each corner to the floor boards. there should be some frames of the smaller wood from the island on each side, to support the roof and later some more solid walls. i dont want to stake anything into the ground yet as i want to be able to rotate this, as the front door will have a bit of an opening and we want that opening facing downwind if possible. i can make a more detailed description as it gets better.
basically: if youve read the brotherband series, that, but no iron nails
(that works in my book, however it’ll take a while to build)
with more time i would build some wood into the walls, but for now we’re mainly protecting ourselves from the rain
(will that be the phase for you?)
((thats it for me and crawford. jackson and magnus should have the phase to go into the forest and collect their things))
(reply with a ready to this post if you are ready to advance the phase)
((aye aye captain!))
((ready))
Magnus wandered into the woods and looked around.
The wood was quiet, not a beast or human stirred
Magnus felt fear. Looking around, he decided to plunge into the woods and broke into a run.
He soon stumbled into an ancient temple. It gave off an chilly atmosphere
He stepped back. He looked at Deacon, who was standing there calmly.
Let’s go, Deacon suggested, running ahead. Magnus felt a prickle of annoyance. “Hold up!” He shouted as he ran towards the temple.
(are you entering?)
(Yes)
Evenjng, 16XX, The Temple
The entrance shuts behind you, the only light you have is the dim torches on the walls.
The only way to go is straight
The only way you leave is as a corpse or with the treasure
Magnus shivered. He pulled a torch from the wall and moved forward. Deacon walked silently beside him.
You could tell there were nonsensical carvings along the walls, you can tell one of them is a raven.
You found an stairwell, along with two doors on the left and right walls
