Master Rework of Doom!

I was being a bit joking, I mean, I think that each class has its niche. If Cult converts Nobles, then so be it. I still feel that it would be useful. And the same would be for Bounty. While semi-confirmable but not easily confirmable, it’s almost completely unnecessary for scum because it adds trials if done correctly. Diplomacy is useful regardless of what faction has it because votes are power. Seekers are overpowered for Cult too, and are highly preferred. In this way, Apostles can become somewhat useful for Cult too. Not that you’re wrong, Bounty is still a useful safety net for BD. But it’s counter intuitive for scum in my opinion.

We can change what bounty does on Aristocrat. I designed the ability to not be useful for proving yourself even if it is clear when it activates so its ok if it isn’t on the converted versions. And while your ability is useful that isn’t the problem. The issue is that it is boring. There is no reason to use it except to prove yourself early game and late game it is only slightly more interesting then PP.

We could have it be a trial defile? (limited uses obvi)

Aristocrat:

Night ability 1: Cover up - If the target is executed tonight he will appear as the selected class (4 uses)

Well the point I was making was that even by doing Diplomacy, it’s a constant and useful way to gain votes for your faction. Even if you don’t use it on a member of your team, as a Noble you can PP them onto the target you want, to gain three votes total, or such. It’s just more steady, even if it’s boring. If we removed all boring abilities, then there wouldn’t be any necessary ones like Phys’ Heal, Knight’s Sac, CW’s Bar, Sheriff, Paladin, Princess, and stuff like that.

Out of those CW’s barrier is the only one which is boring. The others have interesting or at least one’s that feel impactful. And CW is one of the classes we want to rework in this thread.

It’s fine for SOME of a classes ability’s to be boring but you should always have an interesting primary ability.

Note: I added a Hunter rework that would be more fake claimable (especially by Ritualist)

Remember. Your faction only needs votes if it doesn’t already have enough. That means you are not influencing the game until another faction starts to take majority.

Why? Ritualist can already fake Hunter no problem with judgement. All you did was remove a use of each of his ability’s and that just seems unnecessary.

It’s too make it balanced as non unique. Unique claims are hard to fake.

Ritualist is a converted form. He doesn’t need to worry about that.

Also you just made him too weak to do his job. You could have just removed the uniqueness and nothing else

Problems with non unique current Hunter:

Retribution kills way too many people.

Bears make everything a minefield for the killers.

Wolfing is secondary, and mainly is Knight’s job, but it could keep the same number of charges.

I added back a use of wolf

That’s the whole point.

It kills 2 people at most and that is either killing evils or BD isn’t doing their job right.

I know, but it becomes unfair to evils when you have more than one. Every target that kills them makes it easier for a RNG loss.

BD already is killing a BD, so that’s punishment enough.

I’d rather have that than a weak hunter. If the hunter is weak then he cannot accomplish his purpose and he’s just there for no reason. I suspect that this is why he was unique in the first place as there is no particular problem with chaos or a other shenanigans like with other unique BD.

I’ve always seen the defensive bears as the main purpose. Like the ToS veteran, just more powerful.

Don’t forget that the point of the Hunter is to be a bold and aggressive leader. All of his ability’s are designed to remove the things that stop people from trying to take charge.

Hunter is in no way a leader. He is a killer, trying to take out the enemies. The only class that should be a leader is the King, Prince, or Psychic.

Hunter should not be defensive but rather offensive. The bears help that by being a deterrent. It eventually has a trickle down effect that makes EVERYONE more aggressive and gets people talking.
